Short summary today since they wasted a lot of time on the same scenes (like Gaara having his bijuu suked out for the 10th time and those 2 dead guys shown like 4 times.) Most of the important parts consisted of talk which is why I guess this is one of those things where it’s better to read it in a manga than having to sit through so much chattering. In case you haven’t read the manga basically Chiyo explains that people who are slapped with a bijuu (monster) inside of them are called jinchuuriki which means human sacrifice. They have no choice and if the bijuu gets removed from them, they basically die. Upon hearing this Sakura starts to cry and Naruto says “Don’t worry I’ll save Gaara” and she’s all like “No! It’s you I was crying about” except that last part got cut off. After that the sand council was bitching about how they need to get a new Kazekage cause they don’t know when Gaara would come back and they don’t give a crap about him cause he’s a monster. This only pissed Kankuro off and he almost punched the old fart. In the meantime it looks like Team Gai & Team Kakashi are taking a “break”.

Upcoming Attractions: Gaara dies. Wait didn’t I say this like 6 episodes ago? Why isn’t he dead yet??

So now that Seiji and Aiko are back to raburabu land her dad is annoyed to no end at how they keep being all mushy around him. They even make a second “rule” plaque which includes “no keeping secrets” and “no kissing”. Also unfortunately for all you guys rooting for Narumi x Aiko, the show does not appear to be in that direction, it seems like a strictly professional relationship. At work, that ho still keeps hitting on Seiji but little does she realize that he doesn’t give a flying crap. Also Makihara is upset with Narumi because he is paying more attention to Aiko than her. So in case you haven’t heard the latest and the greatest (and in fact I just found this browsing my LJ friends pages), it looks like LiveJournal is banning everyone who has crazy fetishes listed in their profiles or entries or communities. For example, if you have a community for writing yaoi fanfiction or slash or whatever SasukexNaruto thing you can think of, you’ll probably get your account deleted. Hell even if you’re a closet fan with “yaoi” or “shota” in your interests, you can probably say goodbye to your LJ as well! There’s lotsa chaos going on and the root of it is here. They even got a whole Pirates of the Caribbean rebellion theme going on (Woulda been funnier if they threw Pizza Hut symbols everywhere).

So yea this screenshot pretty much describes the “meat” of this episode. Add on a lesbian sister and a mom who wants her daughter knocked up…and you got Nagasarete Airantou episode 9. The only real progress to me what Suzu slowly getting on the “I think I like Ikuto more than a room mate!” bandwagon. Why does Horie Yui always play these innocent girls who when it comes to love are dumb as a brick. Well I guess with the exception recently was Youko from Inukami who knew damn straight what she wanted…I think o_o; (but I digress.) I hope Suzu starts to like hump Ikuto soon, I’m getting tired of seeing cliches and fanservice. I know that’s the whole point of this show but it’s becoming stale like packaged bologna.

So I was pretty much yelling “NOOO! RUN KEN RUN!” in this episode too but it ended up being another hair ripping let down. Now I feel awful for both Ken AND Tada sensei. I like them both! It makes me so sad to see Tada sensei look all sad when stuff between him & Rei doesn’t work out but on the other hand our hero is Ken so he should get the girl. Arrgh! LOL well at least I might be happy with whatever ending that they choose. Also at the beginning of the episode they tell us that this was during the Winter Sonata boom so this tells me the episode took place in “2004″. They even had a Yon-sama parody XD. SO I finally got a chance to watch the Rabucon movie except my file had these annoying Italian subtitles OH well I wasn’t paying attention to them anyway (although JP kept pointing out words like “grandiossa” or whatever the equivalent of dekaonna was.) Despite what some of you guys said in earlier Rabucon posts I made…I actually really enjoyed the movie. It actually made me like the show even more. Both the anime and the movie have its charms and I personally think that the casting for everyone was great especially Risa & Atsushi. Actually I think the only casting I didn’t REALLY like was for Nobu-chan. Suzuki and Chiharu were great! Continue Reading »

Nothing really stood out to me this week as far as parody. I mean there were a few here and there but nothing obvious (like Inuyasha etc.) I liked the Hinagiku parts where she jokingly said “if it’s you Hayate, then you can do whatever you want~” and the Nagi “i’m worried about you” parts. Oh well it had a lot of blushing Hayate so that’s good. I’ve also come to the conclusion that I don’t really like kimonogirl (forgot her name.) I think I in general dislike those types of boke characters. Hayate & Nagi are still my 2 favorites, but Hinagiku’s not too far behind. OH and also seeing Hayate pee water was…strange.
