So anyway I decided to
pick up another drama this season. It’s called “The great big proposal plan” and it stars YamaP from NEWS and also the girl whose name I forgot that was in the Romeo & Juliet special. (Wow what a lucky gal huh, doing all these dramas with Johnny’s Idols XD) So anyway the episode starts out with footage of a guy in suit trying to make his way to wedding, simultaneously as we see the bride get ready. He ends up running so fast that he’s almost the same speed as the marathon racer that’s running parallel to him. He finally makes it…only to be the microphone boy. Continue Reading »

To be honest I laughed
out loud on more than 1 occasion while watching this episode. Sadly that’s more than I can say for most anime I’ve watched this season. :/ Anyway this week is the great big misunderstanding between Aiko and her dad…who is now convinced that Aiko has found a guy to marry. Because last week she lied to him telling him that the only way that she’ll be out of his “grasp” is to get married and leave the house…he’s going out of his mind trying to figure out who it is. He first of course sets his eyes on Seiji. Continue Reading »

In case
you didn’t know by now the Keitai Shoujo polls have ended, and Mia is the winner. I find it ironic considering in the animated episodes, the girls that Hiro actually interacted with were Ichiru and Aya (who are also cousins.) Anyway this week we have Negi (her name is Aya but she’s voiced by the seiyuu who voices Negi from Negima hence why me and JP have nicknamed her that.) She seems to be in the archery club and needless to say she’s also a sort of tsundere I guess. This week Hiro gets some action when he runs into her while she’s changing after archery practice. THE EPIC 1 MONTH GAME IS OVAR!
Anyway the story, like with Kanon, focuses on 5 girls but it’s possible to get “endings” of some of the sub characters as well (although this is mostly for the CG collecting types.) The first girl I played was actually Nagisa, but because her story acually ties in with the rest of the girls…I will mention her last. Unlike some of the otome games I played this is like a “visual novel” type (like most of Key’s work) so you just keep going and pick choices in the story…rather than “on this day I will go to the 2nd year classroom” etc. Oh and with the whole “sad girls in X”, this seems to follow the “Sad girls in rain” theme. The theme of this game is “family” so every story deals with either parents or siblings or just starting “your own” family. This post ended up being epic, so major spoilers ahead and lotsa pics and text! Click at your own risk. Continue Reading »

So this week I
cracked up because of the random sailormoon parody. Actually everytime I see someone doing “____ kawatte oshiokiyo” I pee my pants. (i.e. excel saga.) Obviously in Nagi’s case it’s “in the place of money, I’ll punish you.” LOL XD Anyway after Hayate has a brawl with the talking tiger, the head butler says he doesn’t feel Hayate is good enough for the job. Btw that tiger is awesome “Don’t compare me with yourself you poor bum.” Continue Reading »

Wow this show
is rushing through the manga like sonic the hedgehog. The entire Atsushi’s ex/Christmas live arc was squashed in a short 24 minutes. I mean I know the manga is over 14 volumes but how long is this show supposed to be? I don’t mind the fast pace as long as they don’t then try to waste time on extra episodes with random fillers because they rushed through the actual story too quickly. All this is doing is making the series hard to keep up with because they’re so busy rushing through plot details that there isn’t enough time for character development, other than Atsushi and Risa. Uughhh….this show
is really trying my patience. I keep telling myself “it’ll get better, just look at Da Capo. It’ll get better, just look at Kanon” and then every week it’s like the 3 minutes of good stuff and the rest fulla crap. That girl in the hospital pisses me off. I really wanna smack her by now. The fact that Yorito’s ceiling is covered in sky tiles made me (and JP) go “OH MY GOD COULD HE GET ANY WORSE?” He’s like a sky otaku. I mean I bet he has like sky patterned rugs in his bathroom, a cloud shower curtain. Hell I bet every one of his undies has clouds and sky all over it. There’s a way to get that girl in his pants! So in case you didn’t understand Japanese, Matsuri is a “night” person. I didn’t understand what kind of “bakemono” she was cause I couldn’t find it in the dictionary. Anyway whenever her skin touches the light it gets burned and she has powers to like turn metal into rust or something?_? AND so she says the reason she loves the sky is because she’s never actually seen it since she can only come out at night…hence why she has a skyphilia. Hey Yorito, now you guys have something in common har har! The rest of the episode passed me like a blur. I don’t know how much more of this I can take.
