Well this woulda been a more enjoyable viewing experience had my file not been screwed up 20 times over (thanks firefox/Ie for freezing my Vista!) I really like the direction they’re taking this show. Rather than let Ken “fix” the problem, he has to find a different way to “change the past” and get a positive outcome. It almost feels like he’s playing an eroge and has to go back and try different choices in order to not get the bad end XD So anyway Ken goes back in time to the photo of everyone at some sort of restaurant to find out why Rei looked unhappy in it.

Rei tells him that she wants coffee with milk. (Sorry I said chocolate milk last week.) Ken runs to the cafeteria only to find out he doesn’t have enough money. By the time he comes back, the lady tells him she’s out and then he sees the teacher drinking it. (The teacher notices Ken’s upset and asks him if he’s so against sharing an indirect kiss lol XD) Ken comes back to tell Rei that he couldn’t get it and she just responds that she doesn’t expect anything from him anyway.

Ken then thinks that this is perhaps the reason that the past went wrong so he runs away from school to get it at the convenience store. Unfortunately that race runner guy grabs it before him. Finally he reaches a public bath but the woman there tells him that she only sells milk to those who use the bath. So Ken has to sit there ‘pretending to use the bath’ and then finally gets the milk. Unfortunately on his way back, he gets caught by the teacher who takes the milk from him. Ken comes back and truly apologizes to Rei who says “his feelings were delivered” but then walks away with a disappointed look on her face.

Eventually Ken recalls what had happened when he gets back into the classroom after they throw their paper airplanes. It was his birthday (Lol he forgot his birthday lol.) He then recalls how he asked Rei for his present but she just put her face into her hands in frustration. He looks through the CD that she returned to him, and finds a note with index numbers for the library. When he goes there, he finds a Bass figure (baseball player) along with a note that says happy birthday. He realizes this is the key that he missed and rushes to the restaurant where they’re having his party.

When he gets there he tells her that something like that woulda been difficult to find. He also writes “Coffee & Milk” on the back of a card and gives it to her saying it’s a “voucher” for him to buy it for her in the future. Then everyone else brings out the cake and they all blow out his candles. The restaurant guy offers to take a free photo for them…and in the new photo, Rei is smiling and Ken is holding his Bass figure. When he comes back to present time though he notices that not much has changed. In the next photo, he sees a pic of the guy Rei married…and is determined to go back and see what the deal with that is.

Upcoming Attractions: I guess we see a collision between the teacher that Rei married and Ken. My ep. was screwy so I didn’t see the actual preview.
