Hayate no Gotoku - 04
I think I’m gonna now
blog this show based on what parodies I can catch that week along with a quick summary rundown. Once again, I don’t read the manga, so I don’t know if it was in the manga, nor do I care to read it because people said the manga is better….and that will only take away from my anime viewing exerience (i.e. sumomomomomomo). While attempting to deliver Nagi’s lunch to her school, Hayate ends up meeting Hinagiku, which seems like a pink haired less loli (?) version of Nagi….who’s I guess main feature is that she’s the student council president. Unfortunately he never does end up delivering the lunch because of Hinagiku’s insane sister, but surprisingly Nagi completely understands.
Anyway moving on to this week’s parodies…
JP think this is a fist of the north star parody…to me it looks like some generic 70s anime parody.

I dunno what this is a parody of but the fact that she has various forms of alcohol behind her cracks me up.

This is not a parody but it really made me laugh XD

AKU SOKU ZAN! Rurouni Kenshin parody (Saitou Hajime’s famous move)

Upcoming Attractions: Looks like a set of really annoying characters ^^;

The constellations is probably parodying Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac.
The parody is actually from Saint Seiya back in 1986
and the various forms of alcohol is also a parody of saint seiya, but instead of alcohol, they were various forms of constellation in saint seiya ^_^
below a segment of the original saint seiya attack for the people interested

Aye. And wasn’t the whole duel with swords a ripoff of Revolutionary Girl Utena?
I never saw Utena so I can’t comment on that but thanks for the saint seiya link !XD
those constellations of various drinks really cracks me up =D…
…
I though the first pic looked familiar. Thats Space Cobra, the guy with the laser gun for an arm.
Let’s not forget the Solid Snake parody. True, it’s not an anime parody, but still hilarious. XD
oh was that when he was in that box?
Yep. For anyone that played the game Metal Gear Solid before, the box was a dead giveaway.
Don’t forget also the FFXI reference. Vana’**** refers to Vana’Diel from FFXI.
In the manga, the anime’s episode 5 actually comes before episode 4. Anyway, I’m glad we get to see Sakuya and Isumi next week.
OMG the Saint Seiya & Solid Snake Parody, they were hilarious
Once again there were gundam refrences and pokemon refrences as well
poor Snake, ridiculed like that…
