To be honest I laughed out loud on more than 1 occasion while watching this episode. Sadly that’s more than I can say for most anime I’ve watched this season. :/ Anyway this week is the great big misunderstanding between Aiko and her dad…who is now convinced that Aiko has found a guy to marry. Because last week she lied to him telling him that the only way that she’ll be out of his “grasp” is to get married and leave the house…he’s going out of his mind trying to figure out who it is. He first of course sets his eyes on Seiji.

When Aiko gets to work she first takes back her resignation letter and profusely apologizes for the misunderstanding. After that her dad calls her to harass her some more and people overhear her phone conversation…which leads them to think that Aiko is getting married. The annoying bitches tell her not to get married and quit because if she does then they’ll have nobody below them to take all the crap. Seiji hears this and is shocked thinking that she is getting married as well.

They have a big project coming up, where the newbies (Seiji & Aiko) have to do a reception for the staff. They go to various restaurants to see how it’s like and at one of them they win a $100 gift certificate. While Seiji goes to use the bathroom, he gets intercepted by the dad who demands to know who the person she’s marrying is. Seiji explains it’s not him and that the only other male worker is the president. Her dad now thinks that that’s the guy she’s gonna marry and when they both leave the bathroom, Aiko finds them and angrily storms off.

On the night of the reception, everything is going well until Aiko’s dad shows up. He sees the president Narumi, and runs up to him, gives him a bear hug and tells him to “take care of his daughter”. The man’s confused and leaves, but then Aiko tells him that she is not marrying anybody. For the umpteenth time it’s a misunderstanding and she said it just to get back at her father for giving her stupid rules/curfews when she’s 20. She then finds out that he came to give her the coupon she forgot rather than to ruin things. She then apologizes to him at home, and a few minutes later Seiji stops by asking her father for permission to have Aiko’s hand in marriage.
