Ok so this week I got to this pretty early. Anyway I found this week to be interesting and rather comedic with the whole kuma-san pantsu joke. (I also like how Keisuke called them Tsuppan) So basically for 2 mornings in a row, Hiro on his way to school sees a bunch of little kids flip up Momoka’s skirt revealing her striped teddy bear panties. After Keisuke finds out about this, he’s determined to be at the time and place to snap one with his cell phone cam. So I don’t know why Japan is on a Shakespeare rage (I guess they got tired of Bae Yong Joon?) but they released 2 specials. One for King Lear and one for Romeo and Juliet. I don’t know anything about King Lear, being an uncultured swine that I am, so I decided to check out the R&J adaptation (and more so because I heard Takizawa Hideaki was the lead role for Romeo.) Anyway unlike the Gonzo “adaptation” (if you can even call it that ) this is a story about modern Japanese college-aged kids, who have something happen to them that parallels the Shakespearean play.
