Hayate no Gotoku - 02
I cannot rave and LOL 
enough about this show. Hey they even threw in a Detective Conan statue! XD I also really loved how they kept going “the end” and the voices were like “wait damnit it’s not over yet!” 
I don’t even know how to blog this properly because to fully understand the hillarity you have to just sit down and watch it yourself. Basically what happened is Hayate becomes Nagi’s butler and he’s really good at cleaning it seems. Then he runs into Nagi’s manga (I bet she draws yaoi doujinshi XD) and she’s angry that he calls it a “picture book” so she boots him out. Then they realize he has a large amount of money due and so he’s taken away by those dudes again. Nagi puts on a stupid mask and goes to “save him”. She gives them the money and asks him “on behalf of the ojousama” to come back and be a butler once more. I know it sounds simple but the way it was put together just cracked me up. It’s really been a while since I watched a show and actually laughed out loud or cracked a (non-sarcastic) smile. I’m hesitant about getting the manga since usually the manga is better than the anime and I want to continue enjoying the anime for what it is, rather than comparing its flaws to the original work.
Upcoming Attractions: Hayate vs some white tiger…with an episode title parodying a Japanese movie.

yeah the manga is epic and what’s with the censoring of the word Gundam but massive refrences of other animes?
Oh was it Gundam that they bleeped? I couldn’t figure it out lol. What’s with the constant censoring of any kind of blood or whatever they keep censoring when someone gets hurt…bah why did they have to make this a morning show
I skip spoilers and say that after 1st ep I fell in love with the show, now waiting for subs every week… this is THE comedy show this year

Great show IMO. Very fun and entertaining to watch and I look forward to the new episodes each week. I particularly like the bits where they break the fourth wall so to speak. Like with hayate talking to the narrator, them trying to end the episode early etc…
It’s a lot more like the manga than the first ep was… thankfully - the whole ‘The End’ bits in the manga were the best part of the chapter. “Wait, we need more pages to publish Volume 1!!’ And I suspect that mask reference was supposed to be Nagi’s Char-inspired disguise, to pretend she was someone else so she didn’t feel she’d be humiliating herself by apologizing to Hayate…

Just watched ep2 sub, lol-ed all the way, it is hilarious on so many levels… poor Maria-san, she has the difficult task of disentangling misunderstandings between main pair, who both seem to be quite empty-headed. Add to this all references, and you got otaku’s dream comedy. Both thumbs up! Gags of the episode include: Mask-chan mask going off, look of the Y 156 Mln storming out of briefcase, poor yakuza with card in the head, bath encounter, beep-dam, fanservice shot, episode endings int he middle of episode…
