Ok ok I didn’t really think my post would generate blog dorama (lol) but I’m glad it got such a varied response rather than a chunk of people who either sided with me or flamed me. Oh well that was surprising yet refreshing! So in response to JP’s post, I made a video:

    Didn’t comment in the original post. Too much dorama. Well, I thought the episode was merely OK.

    If one doesn’t speak Japanese AND hasn’t lived in Japan for more than a month, I don’t think the episode would be enjoyable at all.

    In other news, since I submitted my thesis on japanese war crimes to the printers’ I’ll be playing clannad! woot

    Oh man that song brings back some old memories (I absolutely loved the Benny Hill Show - lots of perverted jokes that imho got “improvised” in anime). Well, this actually made me interested in the series (not sure if it’s a good thing :O)
