Hayate no Gotoku - 01

So I saw the trailer for this last week and got really drawn into it..and so needless to say I really enjoyed the first episode and I plan to continue watching this show. Actually I think Hayate’s adorable and he’s bringing out a shotacon from deep within my heart. The thing that I guess drew me in the trailer is the part where he jumps on to Nagi near the vending machines and goes “I came to take you away” or some crap which she TOTALLY takes the wrong way. “YOU BETTER NOT CHEAT ON ME!” XD Yea that was probably what made up my mind to continue watching this show before I even saw episode one. I’m not sure how I’m gonna go about blogging this show because of its popularity I assume it’ll be the next Haruhi…but based on my poll seems like people either like what I write or just like to read every blog that posts about their favorite show…so we’ll see. The only thing I didn’t get was the “censoring” at the end where they had some little dude wich a sign that said “You can’t look at this!”

    I’d probably end up laughing more at any entry you did on the show than I would at the show itself - that is, if I had any intention of ever actually watching it, which I don’t - Gag anime FTL!

    One more more thing, true loli (12 years old) + Zettai Ryouki = UBER WIN.

    Gag yeah! Check out the Gendo Ikari (from Evangelion) lookalike! And in some scenes Hayate somehow kinda reminded me of L from Death Note.

    @Hinano: Actually…he’s supposed to be 16. And then Maria was supposed to be 17 or something… (Just checked and Nagi is 13. JAPANESE AGE OF CONSENT GET!)

    And the Gendo reference was friggin awesome.

    Now I understand why reading the manga can be a issue, the chapter in the manga is so better.

    Dunno why they censored the blood, Air Gear style - at least the latter manga-turned-anime had more nudity… unlike the smears of blood they missed here. I am a bit worried based on how they compressed the first two chapters together into this episode, however, with how the story’ll be paced - they lost a few choice lines and one gag in the process of doing so.

    Watched the first ep, I take it that there will not be any random manga, anime, product, commercial or soap mentioned at all? But that was what made the manga uniquely appealing!?!

    And he bled a lot in the first chapters too!

    Ahahaha… watched the episode and lol-ed all the time… something to keep you hattakai when you are jobless, your parents are spending everythng you manage to scrape from part-time jobs and world is freezingly cold - best gag I saw was role reversal between angel and devil in Hayate’s inner dialogue…

    Yea maybe thats why I like this show. Hayate reminds me of myself, except I’m not as lucky as to get hired by a rich girl
