Naruto -Shippuuden- 226-227
Ugh the stuff 
they put into the filler this week angered and boiled my Narusaku blood. In the manga, when Naruto asked Sakura on a date, it was assumed that despite her making him pay, he payed anyway because he’s obviously in love with her. However the anime team at Studio Pierrot are a bunch of NaruHinatards (see fillers for more obvious information) so they made it that the two of them went their SEPARATE ways then felt “bad” about it because Naruto got treated to ramen by Iruka sensei. Sakura in the mean time was eating dango (which I guess is one of her favorite foods according to Wikipedia or something.)
While Gaara and Deidara were having a heated battle, Naruto spent his time eating ramen, cleaning his house and reminiscing of the past. That’s great Naruto now how about you be more useful and go kick Sasori’s ass. Oh wait, that’s Sakura’s job. At least they had a scene of Temari and Shikamaru together….probably the only pairing (aside from Asuma x Kurenai) that me and Studio Pierrot both support! So yea the Gaara battle finally ended when Deidara blew him to smitherines.
He took him away to an angry Sasori who set up a bunch of bomb traps near the exit of the sand village. Kankuro ran after them and followed the trail that was left behind from pieces of Gaara’s face falling off, although that was just anime filler. In the manga he kinda…caught up really fast to them! He whipped out his 3 puppets and next week is a heated battle between puppet masters (Oops spoiler!) Deidara in the meantime took dead Gaara back to the Akatsuki base. The sand village also sent a bird to Konoha with an SOS message.
Upcoming Attractions: Hopefully next week the real action begins. Oh and the next episode(s) will also be a 1 hour special that will skip a week and air on April 12.

the whole time i was watching this episode , i kept smirking on how they have pointless Long animation for nothing ( like deidara’s on his bird flying..for like almost a minute , or like when Kankuro invokes his dolls , the smoke is sooo slow ) Just so that they don’t catch up with the manga too fast .
This is so stupid . Why couldn’t they take a break ? They can’t say they fear Naruto will lose it’s popularity after a one year break , damn I’m pretty sure they lost more fans because of the two years of filers . Tsubasa Chronicles Takes one year break..does that affect the popularity ? well i don’t know. But still. It would have been wiser to take a break .

kuro> they took a break..for 2 years lol. I dont consider fillers a “non break” cuase they’re retarded marketing ploy to sell Naruto video games or something. What I don’t get is why they keep doing these stupid 1 hour specials and throwing in pointless animation inside it. I’d be just fine with seeing a 24 minute every week.

ANYWAYS, I personally was laughing my butt off when Sakura and Naruto were eating separately. Thinking of that rare breed of “can’t see the forest for the trees” Narusaku fans that must be crying their eyes out. Sucks to be them.
As far as the episode goes, I too dislike the 1 hour of actually 15 minutes of entertaining anime. I hope Bleach never does this. I’m still interested in the show, but it’s testing my nerves with this slow pacing. The actual act of Gaara being captured shouldn’t have taken more than 2 episodes. I remember back in the good ole days when a heated battle took place over 2 action packed episodes. Like the Sanin battle.
I’m dreading how they are going to handle Sakura & Sasori’s upcoming scenes. I’m feeling it’s gonna suck hard.
Oh.. and one last thing: Naruto & Hinata 4-ever! Plus, if you recall, she is one of the first characters to speak to Naruto, and cared for him when the entire town, Sakura & Sauske included, hated him with rigorous vigor. Their love transcends fillers.

Having caught up with the manga, I’m most displeased with the anime creating filler that muddies the course of the established story. Pathetic. It’s clear that the story is trending NaruSaku for sure, though I wouldn’t bet on there being any clearcut resolution by the end of the story. Who knows.
All this delusionary NaruHina stuff is being pulled out of someone’s ass and it’s not Kishimoto’s. I really don’t get it. Hinata’s a nice little character but hell, Tenten gets more panel time than she does.
In summary: NaruHina. No reasons. Not canon. Not happening. Suck it up.

Normally, I don’t like Sakura that much, but she’s okay… I guess. But I like NaruSaku more then any other pairing in the whole series.
Besides, a few fillers and the whole NaruHina fans go AWOL, geez, if Kishimoto wanted them to be together he would just done it already. At this rate, we probably won’t see Hinata until the end of Summer. So…

i dont remember the manga ever showing the battle between sasori and kankurou, dont we just see him catch up and then the next time we see him hes on the ground….
i am english and watching naruto on the tv but i dont like waiting so i watched all of part 1 in japanese and now watched up to episode 7 of the shippuuden series. i pesonally dont care about fillers because 4 sum eglis ppl it could be funi or sumfin like dat anyway but then again i dont no the manga. i am enjoying the new series and was crying my eyes out at gaara cz i didnt want him to die *GOD IM SAD* n i dont mind either is naruto and hinata r togeva or naruto and sakura but i mostly think naruto and sakura have more of a chance because they spend more time togever and sakura is finally loosening up to naruto plus we aint seen hinata yet n maybe naruto mite not like her or maybe he does this is something to lookforwad to.

Don’t you think that the built-up tension surrounding Naruto/Sakura (especially unresolved tension) makes for more interesting drama? Add to that the occasional unresolved (one-sided?) Naruto/Hinata tension in all of those fillers, plus all of the other ladies that find themselves strangely attracted to Naruto. You can bet Naruto is picking up plenty of ero-sennin’s bad traits, and will have every female on his radar before long (good for comedy). Hinata has already been presented as ‘the ideal wife’ in the fillers, like Cherry from Saber Marionette (Naruto even admitted it). So it’s up to the writers to keep this pairing unresolved for as long as possible, adding to the drama as well as the comedy. Even though it’s better this way I have to admit I’m in the NaruHina camp. I just hope Hinata’s character doesn’t become one-dimensional along the way.
Well I’m not a naruhina fan that much though I am leaning to that side more than narusaku.I’m not saying that I don’t like the idea of narusaku…I hate it!First off we don’t know who Naruto is gonna be with so don’t count your chickens before they hatch!Second we all see it plain as day that Sakura is starting to get feelings for Naruto but she also had feelings for Sasuke and she didn’t end up with him!Third Sakura knows how Hinata feels about Naruto most likely and wouldn’t go out with Naruto on the risk of Hinata doing something stupid like killing herself, Sakura is very smart and would most likely think things through before going out with him first chance she gets!Forth Naruto seems to have grown a mature crush on Sakura other than his childish one but, this could also be the sign of him losing his feelings for her!Fifth this one isn’t a real reason for the antinarusakuism it’s just my personal opinion meeting with logic,I HATE!!! when people say the fillers didn’t happen!! because it seems that anyone who thinks that they didn’t happen didn’t think things through before posting there “facts” so let me shed some light on the filler subject.On September 10 in the Naruto timeline 13 years after he was born was the fight between him and Sasuke at the Valley of the End,after there fight Naruto didn’t leave untill some time in December! So what was Naruto doing in the three months between his fight and leaving for his three year absence?You guessed it thats where the fillers fit in!Don’t just think they didn’t happen just because they weren’t in the manga the anime and the manga work together on this all the anime did was fill in the gap between Naruto’s fight and him leaving for three years!

Well, I honestly believe the episode wasn’t that bad. There are still hints that they both like each other in the anime.
Compare their relationship in the anime and now. It’s quite more…profound.
Anyway, the anime has driven itself in a rut, there is still not that much room between the anime and manga (granted it’s a good bit) but not enough to keep up at the pace (so I could see why they would make the episodes longer and break it up every two weeks like they did at one point).
And Honestly, why complain about the fillers? Damn, if they had took a break, you’d be crying for them to bring it back, at least they provided something, even if you don’t like it….
Omit it from your vast collection of naruto on your hard-drive.
That’s a easy solution.

Apparently Naruto dies in the next Naruto Movie…..I probably dont know what I’m talking about as I have not read the manga yet.

Hinano if you watch the Naruto: Shippuden movie trailer you can see a graveyard and naruto headband.
(I know this is an old thread and that probably no one will ever see my reply, but what the hell, I’ll write one anyway :P)
@Dena: That’s impossible. The movies aren’t in tune with the manga - the storyline is not the same. They can’t kill Masashi’s character; even if Naruto did die in the manga (in other words: the real story) he would have to die differently than in the movie, and so he would have to die two different ways. Therefore it is HIGHLY unlikely that he dies in the movie… So there’s no need to worry ^_^
Now, for the arguments about NaruSaku and NaruHina concerning the fillers: if you want the ABSOLUTE truth of the storyline, then skip the fillers (actually you should skip the anime altogether) and the movies. Everything depends on the manga. To say that NaruHina is likely to happen because they interacted a lot in the fillers is not a very able argument. If you just read the manga you will have to agree that Naruto and Hinata probably won’t become a pair. Now please, don’t get me wrong: I used to be a NaruHina-shipper, and I think really Hinata is a sweet girl (with some awesome abilities too) - but from the looks of it Sakura has fallen in love with Naruto and there have been dropped some heavy hints concerning their feelings for each other. You may argue as much as you like, but the facts are right under the tip of your nose, and to say that nothing is going on at all would make you delusional. So: Naruto MAY end up with Hinata but… no. It’s not likely. No matter how many fans bring forth their knife

First of all, naruhina probably wan’t happen. Do you think that if Kishimoto wanted that to happen he would allready show Naruto showing feelings for Hinata? I personally like Hinata, she is preety girl, but i thing that narusaku will probably happen. Naruto still likes Sakura and Sakura’s falling for Naruto. I think that Kishi wants Hinata to mature that’s he didn’t moved away crush that she has for Naruto. Hinata belong with Kiba.
