As I mentioned in my Spring Preview post, Keitai Shoujo is a web anime and also a craptastic game. Too bad the voice cast is excellent which makes me think they needed something to do between their REAL projects. The main guy (who has no voice in the game) is voiced by Ishida Akira, which personally I don’t feel fits the character and only makes him seem like some sort of a stuck up asshole. Wow that was an incredibly pointless episode. The first half was spent on Tokiko emoing about how Kazuki isn’t around and then taking her frustrations out by randomly fighting practice monsters. Then she decided to go fight Pappillon to “Settle things” in Kazuki’s place but all Pappillon could say is this episode’s title “THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT!” Oh and to waste more time and show some more fighting they brought back the homonculus monsters from like 20 episodes ago. Also this is really strange but what the hell is Victoria holding that has to be censored? She’s like “This is the taste of my mom”. What does she have, a brain flavored crepe? Eww. Also the senshi leader is trying to trace up to the moon of where Kazuki and Victor are, so at least somebody’s doing something useful.

Upcoming Attractions: Final episode, I assume Kazuki comes back because he decided to pick STRAIGHT over HARD GAY.

Ah well that was a swell and satisfying ending to this great drama. All the loose ends were pretty much tied up and so that led to a great conclusion. As we last left off, Hinata had broken into Wataru’s “secret room” but by the time Kayo got to it, it was empty…all except the magazine with the rumor printed in it. This is where Wataru explained the full story. He said that Hinata’s real father and his father were friends, but then Hinata’s real dad got sick and told Wataru’s father Tohru, to take care of his paintings as well as baby Hinata. Because Tohru lost his ability to draw, he started simply copying Hinata’s fathers pictures…something an artist should not do. Continue Reading »
