Sumomomo Momomo - 20

I’m really annoyed that they spend 3 episodes on fillers only to leave like barely any room for the action in a regular storyline episode. This didn’t even really follow the storyline that much because of the whole Tenka x Tenchi double team thing. I mean it was cool and all but out of place. For some reason the whole Momoko comforting Koushi and the whole training bit (and where’s the part where Koushi’s dad and Momoko’s dad are on their way to help or something?) just felt super rushed.

And for those who missed Sanae’s naked ass…..well now you can literally see her naked ass. The only difference in the manga she was like “oh fuck embarrassment!” but here it seems her embarrassment is what summoned the giant pegasus thing. Also I don’t know why they went into a “2nd” room when in the manga all the fighting took place in one arena. The only time they fought “elsewhere” was when they fought the oldest one. Oh well anime team is getting “creative” again I guess :/.

    What also made me laugh were the horseshoe puns, like the horseshoe thrown at the pool-ball guy by Uma-Kamen as her way of introducing herself (following the tradition of heros throwing certain objects into the scene, like Tuxedo Kamen’s Red Rose), then the final blow when Uma-Kamen summoned the giant pegasus, giving a huge stomp and leaving a large horseshoe shaped crater with the defeated opponent buried in it.

    Yea that was actually in the manga XD They obviously associate all the people with their “animal” signs except for like Koushi who although a dog….is just a plain bumpkin

    So the Tenka/Tenchi thing wasn’t in the manga? That makes sense because they basically did crap in the anime.

    The whole training thing was kinda funny… did Koushi learn any martial arts, or did he just get pecked at by ravens?

    Anyway, it was good to see Koushi actually say words of appreciation to Momoko.

    He just got pecked. He’s still as useless as before (and even just as useless in the most recent chapter from april/07)
