So episode 47 concluded Nana, which although I stopped blogging months ago, I have actually been keeping up with. Since this is the final episode I figured I’d just add some final thoughts. Obviously the ending is incomplete and it left me rather confused. Last week we left off where Jrock-Nana was telling Nobu once again that he can make Hachi-Nana happier than fagass Takumi. So in the end Nobu chickens out and Nana goes to see fireworks with a disguised Shin, Nana and Yasu. What confused me was how they showed Nana and her daughter Satsuki with no explanation of what happened in between. I haven’t read the manga so….

a) Did she NOT marry Takumi?
b) When Nobu grabs her hand and they show her kimono on the floor…are they getting together now? Is this what she meant by making “that summer” dream come true now?
c) Shin looks hot when he’s grown up and his hair isn’t blue. (don’t mind me)

So in general it was an okay anime. Often times I felt myself going in circle as far as relationships. It seems like the only “change of pace” was when Nana went from Shouji to Takumi/Yasu/Nobu/whoever but in the end she still cried for Shouji. How much more abuse can she take from the mangaka? Sheesh!

In somewhat related news, Stage6 died….so with previous suggestions I moved myself (once again) to Daily Motion…where you can find my Nana/Bokura ga Ita amv.

Ugh the stuff they put into the filler this week angered and boiled my Narusaku blood. In the manga, when Naruto asked Sakura on a date, it was assumed that despite her making him pay, he payed anyway because he’s obviously in love with her. However the anime team at Studio Pierrot are a bunch of NaruHinatards (see fillers for more obvious information) so they made it that the two of them went their SEPARATE ways then felt “bad” about it because Naruto got treated to ramen by Iruka sensei. Space sex and scar moans. Well this week since it’s a finalle it’s gonna be another screenshot batch with my oh so witty comments. So basically what happens is Kazuki and Victor are still fighting on the moon but then Victor suddenly claims the battle is over and tells Kazuki for them to both use their busou renkins to give a signal to earth that they’re still..somewhat alive. Down on earth Tokiko and Pappi see this as well as the renkin senshi so they all jump into the senshichou’s giant robo and fly to the moon to get Kazuki and Victor back. Kazuki and Victor both get their human forms restored (thanks to Pappi’s white kakugane creation), the busou renkin senshi’s are pretty much put out of work because they don’t want to keep making this mistake and Kazuki & Tokiko live happily ever after. This week girl of the week is Tomoe Sayo, or as JP likes to call her “moaner”. It’s true though in the game all she did…was moan. I guess that woulda changed had I actually played her story. She’s a woman of little words and spends most of her time in the music room. She’s one of those quiet bishoujo’s that is all kind and gentle, which I guess to some is a moe point. Need I say more?


Well that was an unexpected ending…as in I didn’t expect them to have a long distance relationship. Oh well they’d probably break up in like 3 months anyway. Mina and Tsukasa both got rejected but on the upside Tsukasa got to be the Volleyball team captain. Mina..well she got the short end of the stick. It seems Sakurai really DID like Sayuri but gave up his feelings because she had the hots for Riku. Also Sayuri spills the beans on ALL her faults that all you guys have been complaining in the series, so hey at least she’s no longer in denial. Oh and for the fans they had Yakuza-chick kick everyone’s ass, another one of Riku’s marathons and lots of guns and crap provided by Onee-san.

Final Thoughts: What the hell did I just sit through the last 25 weeks?

EVEN THE MANGAKA AGREES! EAT THAT YOU YAOI FANGIRLS!!! BWAHAHAHA.

Also there is no Naruto Shipppuuden this week…instead next week is a 1 hour special.
