Does anyone still want me blogging this show? I think Omni does a fine job of summarizing the episodes and I don’t have much to say other than “Poor Rui” and “why must Tsukushi pick the Tsundere guy?” Oh and Jiro’s crying scene was really awful because it looked like he was trying to be one of those Higurashi characters contorting his face on and off to make it look like he was crying.

make a HAPPY ENDING? Would it kill you to spend more time on your story instead of showing us pretty backgrounds for 24 minutes? I mean I realize background is important in an episode and all but why must you sacrifice story and character design? Seriously the character look like aliens to me. It was all going so well the first 5 minutes then some how it fell into a hole of filler and god awful fanservice. Do they really need to stretch time to do the Tenka family arc? X_X Basically since Koushi & Momoko moved into the same apartment as Iroha & Tenka, the owner, Sanae’s grandma, decides to have a Nabe eating contest. The contest involves all the neighbors dropping whatever they want into it. Filler Neighbor No. 1 drops in poisonous Gyouza to make you pass out and Filler Neighbor No. 2 drops a grenade. Yea and you know what? Next week is a filler too. Wow this show just went to hell REALLY fast. I take back everything I said last week.
How dare he kick my Piroshki! Anyway someone last week suggested I not bother comparing this to the TOEI version because TOEI completely changed the ending. They may have a point but there were some scenes in TOEI that were similar (such as Ayu disappearing.) Hey TOEI even included the scene of her digging through the snow (except in KyoAni version she had her coat off…where DID her coat go anyway?) Like a few others, I find it a bit strange how our sarcastic Kyonichi all of a sudden is like “OMAE GA SUKI DA.” Like yea I know he was gonna end up with Ayu anyway…but because they had to get Makoto, Mai, and Shiori outta the way first it feels really strange for him to suddenly ignore her feelings up until now. If he had at least warmed up to her previously I think it woulda done for a better transition. I guess this kind of thing is hard to do when you make an eroge adaptation and try to get ALL the girls endings at once. O_O The only mystery that remains is….what’s gonna happen with Nayuki?
Why did they show anime footage of chapter 307 instead of chapter 265 ??? Wow so that was a big shocker to me. So uh for those who have not read the manga and are like OMG SASUGAY! (Who by the way looks like Fabio in his new outfit.) Basically that hideout Naruto & sakura was in, was originally Orochimaru’s base. In fact there’s a whole lot important (and Narusaku XD) crap leading up to it. When they finally find Sasuke though he’s less than pleased to see them.

Did we really need them to fight again for Captain Bravo to realize in his thick head that “Yes Kazuki, you really DO intend to fight as a human being and not turn into a Victor.” And at the end the fireball captain guy comes down with his flaming ass to stir up trouble just as Bravo & Kazuki finished their 17 minute battle. Oh yea the first few minutes were the flashback of Kazuki vs. Bravo fight I…which was another waste of time. I didn’t read the manga but is this episode a filler? It sure feels like one.
