So I randomly went to the Genshiken site today thinking “wasn’t the 2nd OVA supposed to come out this month?” and lo and be hold there it was. This is definitely a favorite episode because it includes my favorite chapters that had some Madarame x Saki content. God why did she have to pick the “blonde bishounen” when she can have the nice guy who means well! (I guess not everyone can be like me.) So the focus of this episode is on Otaku fashion. I guess Ayame got tired of this show going in circles just as much as me and she took some action to get the Riku x Sayuri crap moving along. (Or in my strange analogies, she gave the constipated story some prunes.) It’s really been a while since I did a full episode summary for this show but this episode was more than “insert filler material here” so here goes. The student council pres wants to spice up the end of the year so he creates a “Christmas” event for the student body. It involves everyone coming in a costume and COUPLES ONLY may enter into the contest.
