   omg, you’re totally right! the quality is amazing and the setup is sooo nice! forget youtube, this site is so much better!

   Its up again now.

   I don’t really like the fact I have to install something to view videos on that divx site. I know you need to have Flash et al installed to use Youtube, but thats so widespread across the interwed I don’t really have a problem with it. I kind of draw the line at installing anything beyond that. It’s a matter of principal, really.

   Digi> Umm it’s just a small DIVX software to allow you to watch DIVX videos on the web as you do flash. It takes like 2 seconds to install and for those 2 seconds the quality beats youtube by 1000.

    Yep, it’s good that you’ve discovered Stage6, ‘cos it rocks big time.

    Unfortunately, I have a feeling that their ’search’ option is kinda screwed up, in the sense that I always get weird and completely unrelated videos (much more frequently than youtube).

    But the quality (sound and picture-wise) completely makes up for it and the long loading times.

    YouTube had terminated my account late last year. I started a whole new account on there soon after — no longer submitting specific tags, to make it a bit more “challenging” to find. But then Randall recommended using DailyMotion. So I started establishing a permanent home there. The reason I love their site is because of how fast it uploads your videos.

    I’ll also take a look at that DIVX site you recommended. See how it works out…

    A few people recommended dailymotion for me but that was after i signed up on the DIVX site and the quality of the videos is way better over there.

    really? that’s strange. I’ve gotten like clear and crisp and smooth video…maybe once or twice it would stop to buffer (and that’s once or twice in all the video’s Ive watched together)

    hm, checked out the stage6 stuff.
    thinking about the streaming itself. youtube goes like 10mb for a basic video clip

    so i watched something like 2.1 mins and the file was like 55mb @_@

    really.. they could use it to sell anime to online viewers the quality is quite good. although its kinda implied that you must have a nice connection.

    well. in the end it kinda goes like this: you go to youtube for reference. since its not worth to spend too much time just to know if you got the right video and stage6 if you know what u’re looking for.

    *looks through your AMVs* We must have similar taste indeed. Of course different as well, but you used a Shimatani Hitomi song~! I’ve never known anyone else who likes her @__@; Good editing on your video’s too.

    well, i also like her… but not every single thing she released. some are ok, others not rly.

    but well, that’s what usually happens with jpop singers/bands anyway
