Sumomomo Momomo - 17

Published by Hinano at 9:45 pm under Sumomomo momomo

Did everyone stop watching this show or something? :| Last week I think this was like the only post that didn’t get comments so I wonder if everyone gave up so soon ;_; The show is starting to get REALLY good now so if you thought it was only about lolis and ecchi…please give it another chance and watch it again. Unlike some shows (coughnaruto) there was only 3 actual filler episodes while the rest stays true to the manga. Anyway, Momoko lets Tenka into their house and feeds him so he doesn’t look like a starving Ethiopian child anymore.

Tenka lies to Koushi and tells him that he left his “family” because his “friendship” with Koushi is more important. He also tells Koushi that his 3 brothers and sister are after him. The next day in school they run into Tenka’s youngest brother, Tenchi. He’s actually Tenka’s blood related brother while the rest are not. Tenka then cries outside the school to his soccer ball that he lied to Koushi and in reality he ran away because his brothers & sisters picked on him for being a weakling and failing missions.

Sanae overhears all this and Tenka begs her not to let Momoko find out because she’ll think he’s a loser. Sanae yells at him telling him that he needs to make sure the person he likes is happy, before his own needs. After school Tenchi attacks Koushi and Tenka protects him and challenges Tenchi to a soccer match which basically involves scoring a goal by throwing the person (not the ball) into the goal net. At first Tenka pretends to lose because he knows that he’s too weak to fight.

However, after seeing Momoko’s worried face and remembering Sanae’s words (and getting yelled at by his soccer ball lol), Tenka gets up and uses the same technique Koushi used on him. He uses the cat toy thing and Tenchi totally falls for it. Tenka then scores the goal and wins the match. Tenchi runs away looking upset and saying how his brother has not looked at him in the eye in a while. That night Koushi & Momoko get home to find their house is on fire.

Upcoming Attractions: Koushi & Momoko move out and into the same apartment complex as Iroha and Hanzou.

naw, you can blame kurogane for that, for a while i’ve been dloading and watching nanoha along a few other series XD

now that i’m done with the lolis, i can go back to…. loli? XD

well, didn’t have much time since i’m settling things here to move to japan so the free time i’ve used to get a few anime and recently(like a week or less) started to watch the tv series ‘heroes’ its nice, but eats away 3times more the time to watch anime =p

and that makes me ask this thing here:
you guys never had a time like… well, you can get as many episodes you can, there’s still some interesting stuff to watch, raw or not, but well… you just dont feel like watching?
…for christ sake, i’m stuck at ep 19 of higurashi, 22 of strawberry panic, 09 of asatte no houkou… wtf…
let me see… 4 eps away of the end of nhk but even the good shows i’m not watching =(

i used to watch enough to keep my week full of anime, but nowadays… its kinda like… 6 series in a steady flow =(

obs: for a change after around 2.5 years without really getting interested for movies, i’ve watched tayou no uta and honey&clover movies XD
obs2: hinano, just to say i didn’t talk about the show, i’m currently stuck at ep 15 ^^U

oh you can skip 15 it was a filler anyway.
    I don’t watch as much as I used to either…I mean if you look at my posts in july i had like 68 and last month i barely even reached 30 ^^;
I used to watch stuff hard core but now if something annoys me I just drop it. Also anime blogging actually keeps me from not getting an anime backlog.

Honestly … I stop watching it during the “horse-bull” arc, I lost interest during it.

I only watched for the comedy, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (that I believe you blogged for a time) pretty much replaced it (I would like watch “History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi” but subs are hard to come by since it does not seen very popular).

“Last week I think this was like the only post that didn’t get comments so I wonder if everyone gave up so soon ;_;”

The subs are sooooo far behind the RAWs (well, only about three weeks, but it seems much longer), so I don’t really have anything much to comment about on the show since the only way I can tell what’s going on from the RAWs (besides the obvious) is from your reviews (which I am still reading).

Drakron I never blogged Yamato Nadeshiko :P.

Oh really the subs are behind? Eh that seems to be the reason a lot of people can’t keep up with anime these days :( Stupid Code Geass XP

  7. Drakron PORTUGALon 09 Feb 2007 at 1:40 pm

    My fault then …

Funny how you blame Code Geass when you also have Kanon and Death Note making a dent.

  8. Hinano UNITED STATESon 09 Feb 2007 at 9:42 pm

Ok ok Kanon I agree but I don’t watch Death Note :P

  9. Drakron PORTUGALon 09 Feb 2007 at 10:56 pm

Me neither … I was spoiled when I read its wiki entry since someone decided to put a resume of the entire storyline and I am really not interested in watching it.

I am disappointed with this episode. The anime changed it so badly …

  11. Hinano UNITED STATESon 10 Feb 2007 at 5:20 pm

    It wasn’t THAT drastically changed…

I’ve been busy so I hadn’t seen ep. 16 or 17 yet. I’ll post a comment as soon as I see them. ^_^

And again, I liked ep. 15, filler or not.

    “It wasn’t THAT drastically changed… ”

Oh yes it was. Tenka’s bro wasnt suppose to show up that early, and they werent suppose to fight until Koushi and co fights the tiger clan

  14. Hinano UNITED STATESon 11 Feb 2007 at 11:23 am

Tenka’s bro DID show up early o_O;;;; I read the manga not too long ago so maybe you should double check? I”m pretty sure them fighting probably wasn’t until that big tournament, so I agree but the other stuff was pretty accurate

  15. wrex JAPANon 18 Feb 2007 at 11:05 pm

In the end Tenchi doesn’t want to accept the loss saying he can’t lose to someone who was so scared he couldn’t even look him in the eye. But when Tenka apologizes for being a pathetic brother, he seems moved; he really does want his brother to be stronger.

The animation of Tenchi as a cat was cute. ^_^

And poor Tenka has to live with the even poorer ninja clan.

    Its a nice show

i’m at ep 16 now, but i can’t see the subs of this episode. The place where i got it from mentiont that it’s an eng. sub. I used Bs-player, media player (classic/alternative), vlc-player and windows media player and still nothing, its weard.
