Sumomomo Momomo - 16
Wee finally the anime is back to following the 
manga and it looks like starting next week is the start of the final arc. Momoko is sad that she’s such a devoted “wife” but gets no love from her “husband”. She sees on a TV program a guy giving “7 tips” to bring the “love” back into a marriage. Momoko of course falls for this and decides to try them for herself.
The first thing is to change your hair style but Momoko doesn’t do too much and Koushi doesn’t really notice. The 2nd thing is to “talk to other men and make him jealous” which fails and all it does is make Momoko be bombarded with crap from a train-otaku and basically leave Koushi & Sanae to be alone and enjoy each other’s company. The next thing is to appeal like an idol, so Momoko goes on a quiz show. Unfortunately while she’s there, despite Iroha & Hanzou’s efforts to get Koushi to watch it, he misses all the parts that actually show her (even though she won!)
The next thing is to try to get a pet. Momoko finds a stray kitten and takes him home. Unfortunately for her, Koushi says he hates all animals equally. Lol. The next thing is Momoko makes a shirt that says “I love Momoko” but when Koushi sees it he yells that he refuses to wear it because it’s too embarrassing XD. Finally, Momoko tries to not cook him dinner so he has to eat cup noodles, but he says “mm they’re good” which sets her off into a tear shower saying how could he say that cup noodles are better than her cooking.
She also ends up making a meal for the kitten (who Koushi tried but failed to boot out) and while she’s at it she makes some for Koushi (which is his favorite.) She then decides that that’s just the way he is, and she’ll stick with him to the end. He suddenly remembers that he had something for her, and it turns out he had asked Sanae to help him pick out a pair of shoes (that are the wrong size) for Momoko. Momoko then remembers the last ’step’ is to give your husband a break because he may
be too shy to show his love, so he will do it in indirect ways. Momoko is super happy and says she loves Koushi, which confuses the hell out of him. The next day as they’re walking home, they find another box that says “please take me” but when they open it, it’s a half dead Tenka.
So I think the only difference from the manga is that the cat REALLY hated Koushi, and rather than nudge the food, I think he scratched him multiple times lol. The anime cat was a bit nicer :P.
Upcoming Attractions: We get to meet Tenka’s family members, who are basically the bad guys for the rest of this series.

It’s a shame no one has commented on this so far, but honestly it is probably do to the fact that fansubs are hard to come by for this particular show. I know I have only seen up to ep. 15 personally

This one largely had the feelings of a filler, and I actually began to dislike Koushi for the way he was treating Momoko, but I like the end when he gave in to the cat and gave Momoko the gift of the shoes (though it was too big ^_^).
The guy on TV looked like Mino Monta, the hardest working man on Japanese television.

I thought this episode felt like a filler because it didn’t really advance the plot much. I was beginning to get tired of Kouji’s mistreatment of Momoko, but the end made it all right as it seems he does have some feelings for her. The cat was cute.
