This was actually a really good episode but because it went into Japanese that’s beyond my knowledge I only managed to catch half of the important dialogue. Edit: So as irony would have it, I found a job. Once again another temp job but the experience I could get here is pretty damn awesome so I hope to cling on to it as long as I possibly can.

Edit2: That job sucked bad and they wanted me to drive 2 days a week down to another office 52 miles away. With gas prices rising, I don’t feel a temp job with no real end is worth it. So yea I quit lmao.

I hate to have more than 1 emo post a month but reality has been banging on my door harder the past week so I figured I’d spit it out before it’s too late. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’m unemployed. I’ve been actively searching for a job and it’s already been over a month and I’m still unemployed. I’m registered with like 6 temp agencies and none of them are doing jack shit. The main reason is I live in the worst area for entry level jobs and in order to have a job you have to be nurse/doctor or work in retail which pays minimum wage and is typically work for high school students without a college degree. Well the drama is getting more dramatic and Wataru seems to be getting bitchier every episode. So one day when all the guys are in the living room they turn the TV on with news about how “Hanazono Yuriko” are 4 guys. Apparently that glasses guy who Kayo works for, was all like “this isn’t the deal I asked for! All this is doing is making their image worse!” So obviously he was the one responsible for all this, but unfortunately no one ever discovers that. He then suggests (or rather forces) Kayo to ask the guys to come out with the idea that “We wanted to preserve the Shoujo image which is why we had this secret identity”. So I randomly went to the Genshiken site today thinking “wasn’t the 2nd OVA supposed to come out this month?” and lo and be hold there it was. This is definitely a favorite episode because it includes my favorite chapters that had some Madarame x Saki content. God why did she have to pick the “blonde bishounen” when she can have the nice guy who means well! (I guess not everyone can be like me.) So the focus of this episode is on Otaku fashion. Saki starts by telling Ogiue that while it’s good that she got glasses, she could use an improvement in the clothing department..starting with not wearing men’s hoodies. Continue Reading »

I guess Ayame got tired of this show going in circles just as much as me and she took some action to get the Riku x Sayuri crap moving along. (Or in my strange analogies, she gave the constipated story some prunes.) It’s really been a while since I did a full episode summary for this show but this episode was more than “insert filler material here” so here goes. The student council pres wants to spice up the end of the year so he creates a “Christmas” event for the student body. It involves everyone coming in a costume and COUPLES ONLY may enter into the contest. Ayame decides this is her chance to get the plot moving so she randomly forces Riku to go with her, to obviously make Sayuri jealous. Continue Reading »

Haha today’s filler character was so pointless she was burned to a crisp by the end of the episode. So I don’t know what the point of most of this episode was, but at the end they got back on track with the manga story again. The filler character was sent by TenTen (Tenka’s “sister”) to kill Koushi but she failed becuase Momoko stopped her every time. Apparently she had no budouka powers but she was actually a raging lesbian in love with TenTen who gave her “costumes” therefore endowing her with a “cosplay” skill. With this skill, whatever costume she wore, she’d be perfect at that costume’s job. (I.e. driving a car, being a repairman, playing tennis etc.) Anyway after she was fried, TenTen threw a poison bead into Koushi’s mouth and he swallowed it. Basically the poison will spread and in a week he will die. If he doesn’t want to die then he (and Momoko) can come to the tiger den and fight them all.

Upcoming Attractions: So yea next week begins the big tournament and Sanae gets a new costume that looks less S&M (but has a twist :lol:).
