Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ - 16
Sayuri Snaps Part II! 
So yea this episode was pretty awesome in a sense of finally moving the “love” plotline along the way. Anyway I was wrong apparently the Bunkasai is next week, and this week they spent another episode getting ready. Well rather, “their class” was getting ready since they finally decided to do a haunted house. After getting it approved by the big boobed vice principal (or whoever she is), Riku went over to the mad scientist teacher to ask for help in building it.
The teacher uses his little robotic machines to build a massive haunted house (about the size of a giant stadium) which angers the track & the baseball team because it pretty much takes up the entire back of the school. Riku explains that it’s the wrong size and the teacher is so frustrated that he runs off leaving everyone puzzled on what to do. As far as the “ghosts”, Riku asks the afro-goddess to summon a few but she points to all the demon ghosts that are making their way into the house as they speak.
In the midst of all this, Sayuri runs and asks how everything is going. She’s in her costume because it’s right before her play. When she gets there all the guys are drooling at her as usual…except Riku..who’s collecting harem members from the rest of the class’ girls that are impressed with the way he was able to pull off the whole haunted house project. When Sayuri sees this she gets pissed off and snappy at Riku.
When Riku proceeds to ask her why she’s acting so strange, she says she has no idea what he’s talking about and runs into the haunted house. Riku remembers there’s ghosts in there and just then everyone hears Sayuri scream. They make a plan to rescue her out and all the guys go in but get knocked out by the afro monsters. A few moments later though, a completely fine Sayuri walks out saying she finally found the exit. She also says the reason she screamed is she tore a piece of her dress and runs off to go sew it. Meanwhile, Riku is still running inside trying to find Sayuri while the rest of the guys are down (with afros on their heads.)
Upcoming Attractions: Finally the school festival and hopefully more jealousy and snapping.

I think this series gets the 2006/2007 award for “Get to the freakin’ point already” series. Sayuri would look great with a boxcutter, hacking away at the girls in her class. We need more yandere girls.
Aye aye jealousy eh. Sucks to feel that way, but a gift to observe others in it XD.
Well if it was get to the point already then it prolly would have been a 12 eps series, and if it was, we would get people complaining about how short it was.
Its supposed to be an “enjoy the ride” series (which I really enjoy myself).
The whole reason they’re taking their time with it is pretty much to build up to the ending instead of diving straight into it. The producers are aiming for the “Awww!, how heartwarming (with the most predictable satisfactory ending)”. With many short quick to the point series theres always this “bleh/unsatisfied” aftertaste.
Hmm jealous Sayuri… I like. But that said, I’ve been slightly disappointed by Tokimemo’s development of the main arc lately. There’s not enough basis for Sayuri to like Riku to the extent that it should manifest in such an outburst. Tsukasa and Mina have also both been relegated to mindless harem girls, cameoing needlessly for the past several eps.
This is not the TokiMemo I had hoped for. XD
i agree with what stripey said. what have sayuri and riku done together? we know she likes him, but why is that? we know why mina and tsukasa like him.
Yea its kinda weird how they decided to pair her up and suddenly she got jealous but the show seemed pretty disorganized from the start so not like it was a long “developing” plot..unless to the producers development is in the form of covering up the “actual” pairing with “harem” girls (mina & tsukasa)
I came into this show hopeing for something Ichigo 100% class, but its been quite dissapointing really… how many eps is the show slated for 24?
