Sumomomo Momomo - 14

The only thing to describe this week was a girl who has a crush on Koushi (who doesn’t?) pretends to be a ghost with her many inventions and appears to be voiced by Yuuko Goto. After that stupidity ensues and that about covers this episode. I also like how Momoko is completely OC when she “sprains her ankle” and runs to Koushi going “kyaa!” when she sees some people dressed in stupid haunted house costumes. If anything I woulda loved her to do some kind of dragon busting budouka move. But whatever. Next week is another filler but it looks funny and seems like some weird crush that Koushi’s dad has or something.

    Don’t tell me, that new girl is a long lost relative of Ichiko Takashima (from Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru)?

    Um, never mind. I guess she’s more of a wannabe (she doesn’t even talk half as fast as Ichiko).

    The “ghost” girl is actually played by Matsuki Miyu, who was Anguras in Simoun and Shion in Otoboku.

    Much as I love Hirano Aya’s work in this show, I enjoyed 14 a lot more than 13. A filler, yes, but not bad.

    When I saw the name Yuuko Goto along with the word “Ghost”, first thing that came to mind was the idea that this new girl might have been a long lost relative of Ichiko Takashima (the ghost from Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru).
    After watching it though, she seems more like a wannabe (eg she doesn’t even talk half as fast).

    Strangely, the guy Momoko is fantasizing about in the screenshot doesn’t look like Koushi. Is that a product of bad animation or something related to the plotline? Hmmm…

    I think it’s supposed to be Momoka’s idea of what Koushi will look like when older (ie: much like his father), based on a yearbook picture they showed of Koushi’s father when he was Koushi’s age.

    Yeah, when she looked at the yearbook and saw that Koushi’s dad looked just like him at his age, she imagined that he’d look just like his dad when he got older. And then she said she’s fallen all over in love again. THAT’S the scary part, lol.

    What the…how old is Momoko exactly? Did she fall in love with the photo or was she born before when Koushi’s dad was a teen? Ok, I think I’m pondering over this way too much.

    Anyway, thanks to all for clarifying the fantasizing part, even though the explanation is kinda scary.

    The explanation is basically Momoko likes manly men..the exact opposite of Sanae’s tastes :P
