And so the plot thickens when Shigeru randomly decides that she’s gonna be in love with Tsukasa. So during the party Shigeru is called on stage and she has no idea what’s going on. She also doesn’t act like a typical “ojou-sama” would and she has manners or anything of that sort even worse than Tsukasa. The thing is though, she can sing AND play piano. To spite her, Tsukasa’s mom makes Tsukushi go play but out of anger Tsukushi just randomly punches keys until his mom tells her that they’ve “had enough”. Tsukushi storms out of the room with an angry/confused Tsukasa after her.

She tells him she has nothing to talk about with him and wishes him “happiness”. The stupid mom shows up and says to let her go. Tsukasa says “I need to talk to you” and grabs “a” hand but when he’s walking outside he realizes he dragged out Shigeru instead of Tsukushi. Not only that, he dragged her without her purse or money or SHOES. She of course gets angry and starts beating him with a love hotel flag pole. He keeps trying to get away from her to get Tsukushi, but she keeps running after him and at one point jumps on his back and bites his ear.

The next few weeks are spent with Tsukushi being gloomy and with Shigeru hanging all over her. She keeps asking her to “Help her out because you seem to know Tsukasa” and also says she will now be her “best friend” and also becomes Yuki’s best friend by “default”. ^^; She even drags Tsukasa’s 2 other F4 guys along (Not Rui) but then says that they’re “not strong” enough for her and that Tsukasa is her “perfect guy”. She goes into a long account of how she never thought that her “arranged marriages” would have any love but this time she feels there’s “hope”.

She even buys Yuki & Tsukushi expensive necklaces that they wanted so the 2 of them think she’s a nice person and feel bad about having “negative” feelings towards her “taking” of Tsukasa. Rui keep asking Tsukasa if it’s “okay” for him to stop caring about Tsukushi. Tsukasa just keeps saying that the fate of his future and company reside on this marriage so he probably can’t really work out with Tsukushi anyway. Rui of course keeps this in mind and sets up a situation where he gets so close to Tsukushi’s face in the F4 lounge that the 2 of them fall on the couch just inches away from kissing (DARNIT!) Tsukushi even gets a bit dokidokifrom that.

Later on while Tsukushi is busy trying to study, she finds Tsukasa’s phone and tries to call him. This time he actually answers. They have a conversation with a lot of awkward silences where Tsukushi cries and says that it’s been a while since they talked like this and that she feels that she will never hear his voice again. She tells him to meet her at the same spot where he had waited for her in the rain in season 1, and then she hangs up.

The next day she goes to that spot and is happy to see that Tsukasa is there, in what appears to be waiting for her. However, moments before she’s about to walk up to him, Shigeru shows up and instantly gives Tsukasa a (greeting?) kiss….right in front of her. Tsukushi can only stand and blink her eyes in utter shock and just keep saying “why?” to herself.
