Wow okay so episode 2 came out faster than I expected so here’s the concluding summary. By the way don’t let the name of this show fool you. By episode 2 we’re way into spring now. Dejiko and Takurou are out on a date and Dejiko tells him that she finally got herself a cell phone. He asks for her number and since she forgot it at home, she calls to it (while blushing once again) and tells him to add the number to his memory. KAWAAIIIIIIIIIIIII! Okay so this was super cute and all raburabu and like made me all warm and squishy inside. So anyway as I mentioned in my previous post, this is a 10 years later version of Di Gi Charat. Dejiko is now 20 and Puchiko is now 15. Puchiko attends high school and is busy with sports practices all the time. Dejiko is working at a cake restaurant as a waitress. The two of them live together in a small apartment. Well I’m afraid I will be dropping this series. This show had a great start. I loved the humor, I loved the whole bishoujo falls for shouta deal. However, at this point all the running gags I can’t stand anymore. I woulda kept on had this show been 12-13 eps but I just can’t make it till 26. Shione’s hair changes are getting old. The camera girl’s “say cheese” stuff is getting old. Ayako getting angry got old after episode 3. Emelenzia was annoying the moment she entered the series…and to make things worse, her narcissistic brother is coming next week. He’s also voiced by Koyasu Takehito which if you know anything about anime prior to 2000, all his voice were narcissists and/or stupid bad guys.

So yea I’m done with this show. It seems some fansubbers have picked it up so those of you still interested in watching, enjoy it…that is if you (or the subbers) can actually manage to stand it this far.

Well it wasn’t really that good of an ending. They wasted time by having Karada randomly spaz once again about the same thing (Shouko x Hiro issue) run off, have Tetsu ONCE AGAIN tell her he loves her and then everything going back to normal. Oh and of course the anime original character has a piece of the wishing stone that isn’t broken and Shouko & Karada use it to go back to normal. The end.

Umm I dunno it was just …there. Most of the show felt this way. It seems like it was off to a good start but it became kinda stale as the episodes went on. I hear the manga is much better though.

The opening theme this week contained a bunch of sound effects like the sound of Sanae’s jiggling boobs. I really do feel sorry for Hanzou. The guy deserves some love. So anyway Koushi gets sick and Momoko tries her best to help him get well. Of course her methods of getting well are tying him up in bed and getting naked. Unfortunately this only lands her to be tied up herself. (Boy lotsa bondage this week?) Iroha finds out about this and wants to help make Koushi feel better as well. • Mai putting a weiner in her mouth after saying “I want you to be with me Yuuichi.”
• Seeing Ayu receive an item that will like play a very vital role at the end of this show.
• Nayuki banging her head against the table.
• Mai not going psycho like in the TOEI version but rather fighting in an elegant way.
• The dance between Mai & Yuuichi wasn’t like “lets rock back & forth because we’re low on budget”

So basically what I didn’t like is Shiori. I mean yea I have a feeling the “next” arc will be about Shiori but I just don’t like Shiori. She is possibly my least favorite Kanon character. I think it’s because I just don’t like “sick girls”. Or like those girls with an incurable illness but yet they can still move and walk around as if nothing is wrong with them. (And this episode would be more enjoyable if JP would like STFU about her having herpes or something.)
