   If there was an award for the biggest disappointment of the season, this would get my vote. I had really high expectations for it, but I had high expectations for Negima too and Shaft actually delivered on those (so far, anyway). If the animation had been better (ok, MUCH better), if the bad guy had been less one-dimensional, if the plot was a little less predictable, if the comedy had stayed at the level of the first episode (the Feena faceplant had me laughing like an idiot), then I think this could have been really good. Instead it just wound up being mediocre. I won’t say it’s bad or that I regret watching it, because it was entertaining at times, and Feena’s one of the best heroines in a while–but it’s sad to look back and think about what could have been.

   I stopped watching this since episode 3.
   it was very disappoiting, i expected more.

   D= my hopes for them saving the series with the ending have been crushed. Oh well, my hopes for the series were pretty much gone when the cabbage showed up.
   I still stand by the FFF though, she was the only character that made this series tolerable in the slightest.

   From the look of things even the facial contortion seems sub par, if mutant cabbage would have ever been called for that was the time.

   And they lived happily ever after, well sort of…

   End of Crescent Love summary:

   While the marriage of Feena and that earthling should have heralded an age of peace and prosperity the kingdom was bankrupt within 3 hours. The former king spent his days watching videos of his queen while Feena was feeling “the pinch” in more ways than one.

   Sayaka and Karen decide to cosplay as Shizuru and Natsuki at the next Yaoi-con. Things get out of hand during costume design and it becomes a Mai Otome themed yuri party with the rest of the female cast. After getting wonderously drunk they vent out their anguish about how they have been treated. Thus began the Yuri Party Putsch.

   Takano now out of a job becomes a war corespondent in the wake of the Moon’s finacial collapse. Needless to say he and his assitant were at the end of their wits. With no more dresses to hide under they are captured by the rebel group Lunabollah, who demand a ransom from the royal house. No one pays and in a glorious twist of fate Takano’s camera has a capacitor malfunction the destorys his 20 euro camera. Taking pity on the old letcher they Lunabollah releases them both though not in one piece. Sadly even when armed with a disposable camera most people are unimpressed by his mutant cabbage pics, the only customer seems to be Samon because he is as dedicated to garbage as a raving Shinji fanboy. So he resorts to turning cheap tricks with his assistant at what remains of the Lunar capital.

   Then the Orcs invade the moon and kill every living thing on the moon except Feena. Apparently the Orcs thought that she was already dead because of her pale complexion, besides she was already all “pinched” out.

   I was hoping for a mildly entertaining train-wreck since ep three. Let’s hope that this is the first and last season of crappy animation. Suffice to say I hope a few people got fired.

   suguru> ROFL I agree. I think I added this as my vote for worst anime in that anime awards thing Xebec is holding.

   It was a torture to see the last 2 episode of this series.

    I gave up on this series after episode one. It looks like I made the right choice. XD

    Can You ask HIDEPON to use furigana,or can someone translate it to english/swedish/finnish that even i can read it all?I understand hiragana/katakana well,even some hundred kanji,but Hidepon uses a lot of kanji which are too difficult to me.Boku o tasukete kudasai.

    i could pretty much predict everything… until Tatsuya was saved by alien technology brought by long lost Indiana Jones daddy… I didnt hate the series, I know it’s bad…. really bad… but I can´t seem to hate it. Of course I wouldnt reccomend it either. Word is the DVDs are getting completely redone animation for some episodes. Would that be enough to save this?
