Kanon - 11
So I’m confused. Since when did Ayu end up permanently staying at Yuuichi’s house? In TOEI she just spent the night and I don’t recall her sleeping in Nayuki’s bed!? Uh okay. Also in the TOEI version Makoto was still around when all this happened. (Maybe that’s why KyoAni let Ayu stay permanently - well until her “parents” come back.) This is probably too old to mention, but Yuuichi’s cock seems to have been enlarged in the KyoAni version. “Lets all take a bath together!” Right. OH also…where the hell does he get all this money to feed Ayu, Nayuki and Mai? I’d assume that Akiko gives him like “some money” to use but seriously…where does SHE get it all? Doesn’t she like sit at home all day? Does she have this mystery husband who keeps giving her a shitload of money? I am sooo confused.

My guess is Yuuichi gets the money from his parents.
Akiko was a nurse in the TOEI version wasn’t she but I’m, not fully sure on that. Maybe we just never see her go to work or maybe she’s on a vacation.
And I’m also guessing Akiko is divorced and gets child support or her husband is just on a very long business trip (if they have that in Japan)

I guess Akiko’s job pays well as well as that her family and her husband’s family is rich, thus having much money to start with. Since her parents would be Yuuichi’s grandparents ( I hope I got this correct ), that would mean Yuuichi’s parents are also rich thus sending some money to Akiko for child support and rent, while giving Yuuichi a generous allowance.
