Busou Renkin - 11

Published by Hinano at 10:13 pm under Busou Renkin

I actually enjoyed the conclusion to the twincest arc. Although I was reminded of how the mangaka likes to give all the bad guys this terrible sad back story that you start to feel sorry for them to the point where when they are converted to good, you forgive them for all the bad they’ve done (including stabbing the main character through the chest.) So anyway we get to hear the story of the twins. It turns out they were abducted by some crazy woman at a young age and they thought she was their mother.

One day, she committed suicide (probably) and locked herself and them inside their apartment. Being little, the door was chained and they couldn’t get out. They banged and cried for help but no one heard them. Eventually they ate all the food left in the house and were starving and half dead. Eventually police found them and brought them to a hospital. They escaped the hospital, and were discovered & taken in by Dr. Butterfly because Shuusui was desperate for money & medicine when Ouka got sick.

Anyway Tokiko was about to finish the twins off but Kazuki kept standing in the way saying not to kill them, because they were still humans. Eventually Tokiko god pissed and started fighting Kazuki. Eventually when he convinced her not to kill them, Shuusui got up and stabbed him, however, Ouka used her last bit of energy and shot Kazuki with her arrow and took the stab onto herself. She said she did so because she had imagined that had Kazuki opened the door for them when they were little, they would have been rescued and had a friend. Anyway Kazuki begs Tokiko for a Kakugane and they help stop Ouka’s bleeding.

Moon Face shows up saying he’ll kill the twins for failing the mission, but then Captain Bravo says that he will fight him if he tries. Moon Face then asks for a raincheck on that and disappears (along with Chouno.) Ouka is taken a hospital and Kazuki & the gang go visit her. Kazuki brings her flowers and she says they smell nice enough that she wishes Shuusui could smell them. Shuusui in the meantime, has left on a manly mission to train himself and get stronger, but not to defeat Kazuki…to defeat himself!

Upcoming Attractions: Some big monster (prolly another homo) thing attacks the school.

they always like to make its seems that the bad guys aren’t so bad … i think its kinda in their culture to have a gray area instead of totally bad bad villians
