Bokura ga Ita - 24
Yano finds out that
his mother only has about $200 to go with to Tokyo and because she has to pay for an apartment and other stuff she ends up having to go overboard and have a loan on herself. Yano doesn’t like the idea of that so he offers to do a part time job. She tells him that he has to focus on his studying and she doesn’t want him spending that time working. She says she’ll be fine on her own. Yano still goes into the magazine rack at a bookstore to look at job listings, and Take tells him to stop worrying his mom.
Take starts to wonder if Yano plans to go with his mom. Yano says there’s no way he’ll leave Nanami because if he does who knows what she’ll do. When Take goes home he tells his sister who says that Take should be happy one of his rivals may “go away.” Take says he doesn’t want Nanami because “Yano is gone” or “She’s lonely”. He wants her to like him because he’s “good enough” for her. Take’s mom pipes in saying “I knew it” and how Yano is weak to those types of women. In that regard she means that Yano’s mom is the same type as his dead ex-girlfriend, Nana.
The next day in school everyone is writing down a card what college they want to go to. Yano asks what Nanami wrote and sees she wrote a school in Sapporo. Originally they both discussed about her going to Tokyo and Yano gets pissed saying “Do you wanna be away from me or something?!” Nanami starts to cry and Mizuguchi tells her that she should be honest and start by saying that she likes him. Take also drops by her house telling her that she should make up with Yano before he leaves. (There he goes again!) Nanami then heads over to Yano’s house.
Nanami takes Mizu-chin’s advice, and it seems to work. She says she likes Yano and Yano also says he likes her back. However, Nanami says that if Yano wants to go to Tokyo with his mother she will respect that decision. She says she is not like the dead Nana, and she will support his decision no matter what he decides to do. They discuss later about colleges and Nanami says she’s not smart enough to pass a test for a Tokyo School and Yano warns her that if she dosn’t try harder she will end up staying in Sapporo. Anyway at the end of the episode she’s happy cause they both seem to be honest with their feelings and she’s anxiously awaiting Yano’s decision. In the meantime he is also considering going to college in Sapporo as well.
Upcoming Attractions: Yano decides to go to Tokyo…but not before spending Christmas with Nanami.

It seems like Nanami always has to wait and cater for Yano… Take is so cute, I dont want him to become the rebound boyfriend for Nanami if Yano leaves! (which is probably inevitable! LOL)
It seems he doesn’t wanna be the rebound boyfriend either. Meh I’ve given up my Take x Nana thing, it seems no matter how far he goes, he never gets any.
yep, it seems more like yanoxnana all the way. with the way things are going, it’s gonna be a long distance relationship. and most likely not going to last… and then maybe take has a chance (??) i feel bad for him.
This anime is so nostalgic! It reminds me when my boyfriend went to europe! (ex-boyfriend)
heh, Anne is still hoping for a takexnana ending. take=rejected rofl………..
Yea Take’s done for.
Miaka> Did your boyfriend treat you like shit too?
LOL… i root for the “nice” guys who finish last or in this case, doesn’t finish at all.. heh!
Ewwww i hate take!! his always in the way between yano and nanami!!! i hope that their together in the last episode or else i’ll be crushed!!!
T_T;;; i am still in support for Take. Sigh, why why why ;_;
LOl oh Take. Does he have a better chance in the manga I wonder
hinano–>>nope. its exactly da same inda manga. poor poor take!! T~T
I think in the last episode Nana will be alone. Yano’ll go to Tokyo and she’l be sad, and so can’t be with Take yet - I don’t believe than 2 episodes is enough for logically bring Nana to Take. But I hope in future (maybe in OVA?) she’ll be with Take. If only she would understand that Take is the best for her (sorry my bad English and thanks a lot for your retellings)
yeah, sometimes
