Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku Wo! - 10

Does anyone watch this show anymore? (Does anyone fansub it for that matter?) So the episode starts with Emelenzia (I looked up the site for her name) and her 2 goons are together and they are crying because she appears to be “leaving”. Ayako while driving by sees this and assumes that she is leaving because she’s going back to Germany. However, when she approaches her, Emelenzia requests that Ayako show her the culture of Japan before she goes…particularly that of High School girls. :roll: Oh boy.

You know just from that last sentence I start to wonder….why isn’t this show more popular? It has to be popular with the girls because of the prominent shota. It has to be liked by the shisucons because of the prominent Mamoru sister. It has to be liked by the tsundere lovers. I don’t get it. Why the hell’s everyone giggling over like Death Note and L’s stupid apples. Geez some shit is so overrated these days. Anyway, Ayako gathers the ladies to show Emelenzia the things that high school girls do. They also tell all the boys they’re not allowed to come to this “girls only” event.

They take her to do high school girl things. First they go to what appears to be a Butler Cafe! Next they go sing Karaoke. Emelenzia and Ayako have a major Karaoke battle when they get there. Afterwards, they go take purikuras and the two of them go at it again scribbling crap all over each other’s photos. Finally, the last event is shopping (which brought back memories of Black Friday) in Shibuya. The boys in the meantime try to follow their footsteps but they fail. One of the guys who’s dying to fall in love complains that Mamoru has Ayako, Maya is popular with all the girls in school, that beefy dude only cares about his muscle, and the Ayako stalker is just too flippin weird.

Before she leaves, Ayako gives Emelenzia some “Beatrice Cookies”. It really seems like she’s gone but the next day in school…she’s back. She has transferred into Ayako’s school to be a “high school girl” hence why she wanted to learn about them. She tells Mamoru yoroshiku, and he says yoroshiku back and adds his “trademark smile” which makes her instantly fall for him. Ayako gets jealous and drags him away mumbling that his smile is only for her.

Ok. You guys think Yuiichi or whoever else is a pimp? The only one with pimptastic powers is Mamoru. GIRLS LOOK AT HIS SMILE AND ITS LIKE “LETS JUMP INTO THE SACK BABY”. If that’s not pimp powers I don’t know what is.

    I saw that sign but I didn’t pause it to read what it said. I did see something about hitori-otoko though but my kanji reading stinks XD

    I’d watch this show in a flash if someone would please sub past episode 1! Maybe I should try to experiment watching raws again, but something tells me I just won’t get it. Thanks for blogging this though, at least I can sort of get the idea of what I am missing!

    Well you could do what a few other readers did is they’d watch the raw and then refer to my summary if they weren’t sure what’s going on. (At least that’s how a lot of my visitors watched Mamotte Lollipop!)

    Still watches it, though without subs. Toybox, which has been doing NHK just released ep.1, so hopefully they will be the first group to get past that ep.

    i m waiting for the subs i just hope Toybox does not stop subbing like the first group i can’t wait to see the fight between ayako and emelenzia for mamoru that would be so fun XD

    I’m still watching and the summaries here are of great help. It seems like all the anime I really like this year aren’t being subbed consistently. Those are Mamoru-kun, Kekkaishi and Kenchi. And now I can’t find the RAW avi for latest Kekkaishi episode, Aargh. Thanks again for the summaries.

    Reading your summaries do help tons, Hinano! I can only understand like 30% of the stuff without subs, so yeah, without you I’m screwed!

    Sorry for asking, but by some chance would you know anyone who did summaries for LGC eps 5-17? I’m left hanging on that one…

    oh cool I’m glad you guys find them useful (its like one of the main reasons I do some of the summaries…sorta like pseudo fansubbing but not!)

    I have all the raws just sitting on my computer, just waiting to be watched. As soon as I can get some summaries/translations for the earlier episodes, I’ll probably watch them all in a day. XD

    Ah as far as the earlier eps go, the only thing you gotta know is they had no luck gettin seiyuu jobs so instead they became an idol group =D All the important stuff happens pretty much around where I started blogging it :lol:

    Still watching it myself, though I tend to skim raws and mainly check out the interesting parts until the subs arrive.

    This episode gave me a lot of laughs though, especially the Shopping adventure - gave me a few pseudo-references to Super Gals, especially when Ayako and Emelenzia had that ridiculous dark make-up on (making them look like those 3 dark skinned egotistic groupies from Super Gals). Of course Ayako’s sheer embarrassment when Mamoru saw her looking like that was a real riot.

    as happy as i am that toybox is on it, i wish someone would release an avi version (aka xvid), i don’t like h264 (and no it isn’t i can’t play it)
