Yay my 300th post is a Kanon one! So this week was the concluding episode of the Makoto arc. The difference between KyoAni and TOEI was dramatic of course. First of all the deterioration of Makoto wasn’t as concentrated as in this one. Also in KyoAni she was still able to somewhat talk and to add to the “drama” she called Akiko “mother”. All the events (such as finding out she’s not human etc) was all sorta done within a 10-15 min period in ep. 10 of the TOEI version. Also Amano seemed nicer in the KyoAni version than in the TOEI one. Continue Reading »

Does anyone watch this show anymore? (Does anyone fansub it for that matter?) So the episode starts with Emelenzia (I looked up the site for her name) and her 2 goons are together and they are crying because she appears to be “leaving”. Ayako while driving by sees this and assumes that she is leaving because she’s going back to Germany. However, when she approaches her, Emelenzia requests that Ayako show her the culture of Japan before she goes…particularly that of High School girls. Oh boy. Continue Reading »

Offtopic but yay I made it into 9-rules even though I screwed up my layout trying to get the button to show up on every page. So yea until further notice viewing this site in anything but firefox may leave for undesired results. So anyway Karada is shocked that Tetsu is here and he is shocked that “Hiro’s girlfriend” is here. He asks if “they broke up” and Karada awkwardly nods.
