NHK ni Youkoso! - 22

Published by Hinano at 8:54 pm under N.H.K. ni Youkoso!

Actually I was wrong. Sato's imagination gone wild part 3 It appears they will be going a bit in depth on Misaki in these last 2 episodes but hopefully it will leave with a happy ending…but most likely will stray from the manga. Anyway Sato ran into Hitomi senpai and suddenly had a wild imagination of doing her in a love hotel…to the point that his nose began to bleed. The two of them then went to a cafe to chat.

Hitomi was surprised that Sato was out on his own like this being a Hikki and all. He said that his hikkism was improving and he asked where her fiance was. She said he was called out for work and so she was by herself. As they were leaving the cafe (and after eating at this grill place), she started laughing really hard then crying. She then asked Sato to go to a love hotel with her. Before he could, he had an imagionation once again of doing her, and then the 12′oclock time stroke snapping him out of his trance. While everyone was yelling happy new year, Sato told her that she’s happy and its the “conspiracy” that almost got her.

Hitomi agrees with him and then asks to walk holding his arm saying to “fool” the conspiracy into thinking they “fell for it”. I found this cute…however Misaki who finally found them..didn’t think the same. After Hitomi left for her train, Sato ran into Misaki. He asked her if she wanted to go to the shrine to make wishes, and she refused because “god is bad.” The next day when she came to bring him a lunch and he told her how Yamazaki was sending him left over milk from the countryside, she was all like “So you don’t need me anymore, I see how it is” and ran out.

That night for his usual session, he found that the cat she’s been taking care of had died. After Misaki buried it, they proceeded with the lessons. The whole time she kept spewing about how god is bad and it’s all his fault that the cat died, and that Sato is a hikki, and that she saw Sato and Hitomi leaving the “love hotel” area. She then proceeded to crying saying that if she knew where god was, she’d “defeat him”.

Wow uh okay, that was unexpected. In a way I kinda dislike Misaki because at the end she was all like “I got Sato in the palm of my hand.” So it’s like she’s been pretty much using him to make herself feel better….knowing that there’s someone out there more miserable than herself. However, now that Sato is slowly climbing out of his black hole, he’s leaving her behind and it’s driving her up the wall. Well, we’ll see what happens in the next 2 weeks.

Upcoming Attractions: Sato finishes Misaki’s schooling.

It’s about time we got to some Misaki development! I’ve really enjoyed the past handful of episodes of this series. Kinda sad to see it end. There’s still the manga that I haven’t read yet though. How different is the anime from the manga?

I never read the manga so I honestly can’t say. From hearing other people’s reviews of it it seems that the manga was cool when it started but eventually it just shows everyone deteriorating further and not getting out of their “respective ruts”. I wouldn’t actually know having not read it, its just stuff I heard/read on other blogs.

Some points, Hitomi is now actually married. When they part ways she tells to meet again in the future when everyone is happy. then she tells him that she is going to be a mother. It seems that this is the final chapter in the story of Satou and hitomi. It is a little different from the manga with the pregnancy revelation.

The anime’s more positive than the manga, trust me. If you want to read, read Goth instead. It’s done by the same artist as NHK, but it’s WAY WAY COOLER.

perhaps now that Misaki helped him out of hikkism, Satou can help with her troubles?

After reading the manga I found the deplorable states of everyone a bitt to hard for me to bear.. its almost too realistic that it hurts.. sigh.

Hinano - I think that you are reading Misaki wrong. She is trying to help Satou in order to prove that she does have some value to someone.

I actually thought that at first but when she keeps saying stuff how “he’s worse than I am, he’s a complete and utter loser” it really questions her sense of helping without an ulterior motive etc.
