At the end of this episode I had this huge grin on my face. So anyway Momoko finally remembers her promise with Tenka from back then. Apparently he punched her in the head and she vowed to become stronger so that she could defeat him. First, Tokiko transfers into Kazuki’s school for some new mission that she’s been assigned by her “Chief”. He’s the guy who saved Kazuki in the last episode with the big silver coat. Just as a heads up, I’m super behind everything because torrents coming out lately, birthdays, defective ipods and the like. However I will try to catch on everything by tomorrow and post up some blog entries in the evening. (Or at least short impressions like this one.) This will be like this next week as well because of Thanksgiving.

Ok I generally liked the episode. I’m glad they’re starting to move the relationship but once again I was slapped with the cliches. This week’s cliches are: “Let go of me! *runs away crying”, Blonde bad guy who’s her “supposed” fiance, being told by the childhood friend that “YOU LIKE HER” and then realizing “I LIKE HER!”. Actually it might not all have been that bad if it wasn’t for the 2nd half of the episode that was animated by the same horrible team who did episode 3. That pretty much killed any seriousness the show had for me and as much as I tried to get into it I just couldn’t. Next week doesn’t look any better but at least the constipated plot (or something) is moving along.

And if you live in North Carolina, I am so sorry if you or anyone got affected by the tornado. (We’re getting crazy rain up here though.)

….someone in my family managed to ruin my birthday. I don’t even know where this week’s Bokura Ga Ita is, or if it even aired and I frankly don’t give a crap right now.

I wonder if there’s any Mamotte Lollipop fans that still read this blog. Anyway I was at Mitsuwa this weekend and I stopped by their bookstore to see if they had any manga. Sure enough I found volume 1 of the sequel to Mamotte Lollipop…of course when I purchased it, I thought it was volume 1 of the original manga which seems to be missing in action from all manga stores I’ve been to in New York. I read it anyway though, just because I saw the anime and the beginning of the manga did a quick review of what happened. I eventually would like to get the original series but for now I guess I’ll check out the sequel.

Anyway basically at the end of the first series, Nina and Zero admitted their feelings to each other and kissed They did show a screenshot of the kiss but not what led up to it. After that though, Zero and Ichi went back to the magic world and Nina’s been emoing because Zero hasn’t been showing “love” for her. Continue Reading »

Wow this episode was totally not what I had expected it to be, which only made it better! From this episode we can now surely assume that Sayuri is gonna be the girl Riku ends up with. Anyway summer vacation time and while everyone relaxes (and goes to Comiket), Riku is forced into helping out student council activities. Well he was gonna say no…until he found out that Sayuri was doing it as well. He’s excited to be working with her, which causes some turmoil for Tsukasa who sees the two of them walking together after school. Continue Reading »

This episode was absolutely amazing. I can’t believe how good this show has gotten. The only bad thing I can say is “What the heck happened to the animation?” Anyway Iinchou’s brother gets angry and violent at her for letting people into his room. She apologizes and tries to calm him down, hurting her hand in the process. She sees Sato and the others downstairs and he gives her the signed contract thing. She then tells him a story about how after high school her dad passed away and she had to do a bunch of slutty waitress jobs. Her brother just locked himself away and played games and she wanted to try to get him to stop being a hikki so she got fooled into buying that shit from Mouseroad which didn’t do jack.
