Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ - 09
I actually enjoyed this 
episode, and although I praise Tsukasa for her persistence I also think the lights are on but no one’s home. Anyway Tsukasa and Riku go to the beach! She wears the typical girl-in-love sun hat, he blushes & stares at her swimsuit, they splash each other in the waves, and then he chases her through the water going “Matte!” while she giggles and blushes! This pattern is broken when Riku gets abducted by his classmates.
They abduct him, bury him in the sand, build giant tower over the place where his cock is..and then that beefy guy sits on his head and proceeds to rub his crotch on it. Then out of nowhere Yakuza chick comes by and beats him up that he flies like a stone half way down the ocean. By this time Tsukasa finds him and tries to walk around and find places where she and Riku can be alone. After a while she realizes like THE WHOLE SCHOOL is here.
Eventually Riku finds an empty spot on the beach and when he takes Tsukasa there, he runs into Amamiya. She says that the cabin here is her grandparent’s and the whole area is their private beach. However, she says it’s no big deal and if they want to play here they can. Unfortunately Riku’s too busy focused on Amamiya to pay attention to Tsukasa. Tsukasa then tries to act like she’s drowning (and for some reason it works in 3 foot water) and Riku “saves” her.
However, his friends show up, and jump on him and drown him instead. The lifeguards show up, and they are the big boobed chick and Miina from the swim team. The big boobs girl tries to give Riku mouth 2 mouth, but all the guys stare at her ass and she passes out from embarrassment. Miina then tries to do it, but before she can, Riku gets hit in the stomach with a volleyball and then wakes up. At the end of the night Tsukasa & Riku are walking home and she tries to hint to him that she likes being with him, but before he can get the picture, he’s carried away once more by the randomly running baseball team.
Upcoming Attractions: Too many things going on in this preview to figure anything out.

This is 24 episodes long right?
Considering there are only 3 girls in the race and we are not even at half point I wonder what they will do … Riku is stuck on “Amamiya mode” since episode 1 and neither Amamiya or Miina had as much screen time as Tsukasa so far.
The biggest issue is Riku … I mean the guy so far is the archtype of the nice guy harem lead with the only thing that sets apart is the slight crush on Amamiya.
Its better it have cat fights at some point or this ends up as boring “Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na”.

Just how the heck can she keep her swimming career going if she has those kinds of issues? (eg if she was in the National Olympics thousands if not millions would be watching her)

The story is getting no where…. but interesting to watch still.

I’m enjoying this just because I’m enjoying it. There’s really nothing that stands out and grasps me, but there’s also nothing that disgusts me. It’s kinda funny, kinda haremy, kinda a lot of good things but also kinda bland because of the sheer number of random shit everywhere(no focus). The plot basically has no direction, yet it’s still relatively interesting and entertaining.

this series really has a “laid back atmosphere” and the animation is good thats why i like it oh yeah and its a harem XD
From the way this is going..I think Konami will somehow pull a “no girls” ending. On the side note, poor Ayu-chan..XD She’s been taking the stares in most of her appearances.
There seem to be no connection between the girls and Riku, unlike previous merchandises of TM series (minus TMO). The lack of osananajimi/tonari relationship kinda makes it hard to guess. But it seems obvious that Riku is head over heels for Amamiya.
However, I’m an advocate for the MMM (Moe Moe Mina), and hoping to see more of her in the future episodes. Blushing girls = win.
random shit is good but not too random. The first fucking episode nearly killed my interest in the show cuz everyone was so extra and random.

Konami is the money and motivation behind this production so I’d think they have quite a lot of say.
I’d have to contest the claim of a lack of direction. Besides the Inukai ep, every ep builds on the relationships between Riku and the girls which is the real deal of the series. Yes, no sakura trees or rainbows involved and lots of clutter from crazy cast cameos (fun when not overused) but surely things are moving.
I have great sympathy for Tsukasa. Wonderful girl, but I think she’ll last a little longer than Makoto in Kanon before getting sideline to see Mina and Sayuri slugging it out.
Rooting for Mina myself.
