I really hope they don’t have a feel good ending to this series (from what I heard the manga and the novels didn’t have a feel good ending) I’m really going to miss this show, but I guess I can retread the story through the manga. Guess the novels will never make it to America (in English anyway) so thats not going to happen… Oh well.

Hurray for reality filled soul-crushing stories! I’m so tired of all these feelgood animes that something like this really is a good change.

I just hope the ending doesn’t leave us hanging…

Check out the manga if you can. I’m upto chapter 33 at the moment (quite an achievement considering how bad my Japanese is) and I have to say that there is SO much more to Misaki than the anime lets on. I’m, also, not really surprised that they didn’t cover her ‘issues’ as she’s probably the most messed up character next to Sato, it’s just too much to cover in the 3 remaining anime episodes.

For me Makoto & Ayu’s stories were probably the saddest. I didn’t really get moved by Shiori or Mai’s and as I said before I already just feel sorry for Nayuki for being the one always left behind

Ahh, I see… Oh well, guess I have to scour some more sites for info then.

Just finished watching Kanon episode 8 too, it’s giving me bad vibes (the time-to-get-a-box-of-tissue vibe-no-make-that-a-few) and I’m not sure if I want to experience deja vu (Air’s last few episodes).

When Air was still screening, it was bad enough to make me cry (during the span of those episodes) as much as, if not more than, I ever had in past few years.

Now Kanon is doing the same thing again. Gah, the torture. Sometimes I wonder why I would even want to watch shows like these, must be addicted to stories of despair or something.

Grr. Got to hold on till the end. x.x

Hmm… Looks like I really have to go buy the manga soon then.

OOC: Btw, I keep letting this slip out of the recesses in my brain but Hinano you’re living in Japan right? Did you catch Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo? I couldn’t watch it, and I’m waiting for the dvd to be out so I can ask my friend to import it for me. I assume it’s a good show because it’s from a 30 year-old novel (ahead of it’s time or just too slow?) , but more importantly i caught some of the trailers and downloaded the theme song (Garnet by Oku Hanako),and turns out I was quite drawn into the movie.

So now I’m just waiting to get my hands on Tokikake while waiting in anticipation for Shinkai Makoto’s Byousoku 5 Cm. Ahh, good things to come. Hopefully when I finish my dreadful civil service duties next April (which is my birthday month also, double joy!)

Hahaha this is probably just another one of Gonzo’s disappointing endings. Maybe they thought if they showed a weakness in Misaki they couldn’t turn her into a “heroic” character who could “be there” for Sato.

Gawd the series is gonna end and i don’t know sh*t about Misaki, plus Satou has not made any considerable progress with her and they haven’t passed to second base yet, Now i got to buy a T-shirt that says “Will work for: Nhk ni Youkoso! second season and/or a Wii.”
