Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ - 08
So at this point I actually am 
no longer sure of who Riku is going to end up with, and whether he will actually end up with anybody. It’s summer vacation and Riku is gloriously spending it doing student council activities. All the guys in his class are jealous because not only does he talk to Sayuri but Mina also comes looking for him. He tries to explain to Sayuri about the confession being an accident and only embarrasses her more in front of her friends.
Mina asks Riku to come watch her swim pratice. On the way there he runs into Tsukasa. He tries to ask her if she wants to do something to make up for last time but she lies and says she has a lot of practice. In the meantime, during her practice she keeps missing all her spikes and can’t seem to properly return the serves. Riku helps Mina with her timing and then they walk to the shrine together where he wishes for her timing to improve while she wishes for him to call her by her first name.
While painting some signs Riku paints a line over Yakuza chick, who surprisingly doesn’t get angry. Actually I haven’t seen anger vein on the little guy in a while. Anyway Sayuri comes by and Riku is still trying to appologize and explain himself. She says “less talking and more working!” to him and it seems like things are settled. While they are walking back with the paint, they run into Tsukasa’s friend Amane who tells them that Tsukasa fainted and was taken to the nurse.
Riku is worried and rushes to the nurse’s office. The nurse said she was fine and left already. Riku finds her in the gym once again trying to hit the ball over the net. She’s too frustrated and sad thinking about Riku (and the other chicks he’s constantly with) to be able to hit properly. He comes by and offers to help her practice. She gets all genki and manages to spike properly. At the end she thanks him and asks if she’d like to go to the beach with her.

I’m really wondering if Sayuri was peeved because
1) “Crap, not another kokuhaku idiot, can I keep it below a thousand before graduation?”
or
2) “Argh! Riku gave me false hope! I was so gonna say yes and he had to ruin it with the audition bit. I HATE HIM!”
Maybe I’m reading too much. XD

Right i meant to say “dating sim” not necessarily eroge
I think it’s #2. In ep. 7 it looked as if, at first, Sayuri was simply surprised by the “confession” and was left speechless.
But when Riku started to take it back and say that it was just an audition spiel, she naturally got embarrassed by her “speechlessness” that’s why she ran.
But then I’m still waiting for the subs for ep. 7 and 8, so I can be completely wrong.
That’s just my 2 cents.
Honestly I dont recall many dating sims with beach “episodes”, so far the only that I remenber is True Love.
Harem anime … a lot, heck even Shanna had the pool episode.
