NHK ni Youkoso! - 20
Well this episode certainly
surprised me in a sense that it was completely about Yamazaki and had nothing to do with Misaki. Damn misleading previews! As usual Yamazaki and Sato are working on their eroge, but then Yamazaki gets a phone call from his family. It turns out his father is sick and has been hospitalized. Because of this, Yamazaki is forced to go home and take over the family business, as well as having to drop out of college.
Yamazaki tells Sato about how when he was around age 18 he came home to find his family partying. Afterwards, he went in and found an envelope with his name on it and there was written the “plan” for his life. His parents had written how at age X he’d inherit the business, age Y get married, Age Z have kids etc. Yamazaki got really pissed off at this and decided to instead go off to the university.
Next Yamazaki tells Sato to spend the 24 hours in his room working on finishing the game. He keeps telling Sato to come up with a scenario where the girl acts “shy” and Sato can’t seem to do that. Yamazaki suggests they take a brake and they order pizza and get drunk. They then look outside to see it snowing and then they drink Sake outside while Yamazaki burns his schoolbooks saying he won’t need them anymore.
Finally Yamazaki calls up that girl that he likes. He tells her to come to his house. In the meantime, he has Sato hide in his bed behind a curtain to film her reaction when Yamazaki shows her his Otaku room. She goes in and when he tells her that he’s an Otaku and shows her all his figures/doujinshi, she says that she finds his straighforwardness charming and says she likes him. Yamazaki is shocked at her reaction, and doesn’t want to start anything with her since he has to go back home soon, so he makes fun of her instead. She punches him in the face and runs away.
Upcoming Attractions: Noo idea, seems like Senpai is coming back though.

Yamazaki made fun of that girl? Just because he was heading back to the farm? And she liked him? Arrgghhh! So how was the graphics compared the last episode?
gotta see it…
What the heck, the last few sentences of the summary really shocked me.
山崎さん(this is his kanji name right?は本当にバカです。さいて。
Is this episode trying to tell us that sometimes we can’t run from what’s already been determined(i.e fate)? Because even so, humans cannot live without dreams, that’s what I think.
Badger> Much much better.
Asou> It just made me sad that he expected her to run screaming from his otakuness, but instead it was the opposite..which forced him to pretty much purposely try to trash her feelings since they’d have to “break up anyway”
Well, that was cruel of him. HE should not have done that at all because he ended hurting her. He didn’t even have to break up with her because they weren’t going out at all. That show you that people like Yamasaki shouldn’t get drunk.
