Sumomomo Momomo - 07

At the end of this episode I had this huge grin on my face. So anyway Momoko finally remembers her promise with Tenka from back then. Apparently he punched her in the head and she vowed to become stronger so that she could defeat him. That backfired because she thought she promised she’d meet him again to fight him, while he thought he promised that they’d get married. Oops!

So Koushi’s dad finally explains to him the reason behind the 12 animal war. Apparently if like it isn’t stopped or something there’s gonna be lotsa bloodshed. (I dunno this whole part flew by me.) Anyway Koushi realizes that he’s really involved in this and feels guilty. He then gets totally into Momoko’s pace and ends up blushing around her and having all these fantasies of her taking a shower. XD He decides he must not do this and be a lawyer and study so he locks himself in his room and does his homework.

The next day in school, Sanae asks if he would like to walk home with her and stop by the bookstore. He is happy to be able to have normal conversation and not thoughts of wars or training and agrees. Just then Momoko bursts in saying she’ll walk home with him and protect him, but he get angry, yells at her and says she’s a pain in his ass. Momoko is hurt and later as he walks home he feels guilty. Then a bunch of thugs who ask him for homework threaten him and when one of them tries to punch him, Sanae protects him and takes the hit. (Ouch!)

He realizes what a whimp he is, tells her to run and then ends up fighting the guys (and of course getting his ass kicked.) Koushi comes home all beat up and Momoko insists on treating his wounds. He tells her it’s no big deal and she remembers what he said to her earlier and all hurt she leaves the room and leaves the medicine box. He feels really bad and comes back out, notices she has tears in her eyes and says maybe he could use her help. She then treats him and at the end insists on taking a bath with him, much to his protest.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSHFJHSJFSHKJFHSJKFHKJS Upcoming Attractions: I don’t know, but I saw Momoko blushing so that’s always a good thing!

    I’m still holding strong to the idea that this is in fact a satire. I thought everyone thought the same but I’m not so sure anymore. Looks like a very “aww” worthy episode ;p
