Tokimeki Memorial ~Only Love~ - 07
Wow this episode 
was totally not what I had expected it to be, which only made it better! From this episode we can now surely assume that Sayuri is gonna be the girl Riku ends up with. Anyway summer vacation time and while everyone relaxes (and goes to Comiket), Riku is forced into helping out student council activities. Well he was gonna say no…until he found out that Sayuri was doing it as well. He’s excited to be working with her, which causes some turmoil for Tsukasa who sees the two of them walking together after school.
Tsukasa asks to talk to Riku near Yakuza chick’s cage (while he sweats below the bench from the heat) and asks if he likes Sayuri. She asks if he thinks nothing “Special” of her and Riku says she’s just a classmate. It’s funny he says she’s not special to him, but he doesn’t really say that Tsukasa is special to him hahaha. Their relationship is sooo retarded :P. So anyway, she says since it’s summer she wants to go on a date with him and so they make plans to go out on the weekend.
However, one day while in school, Riku gets dragged to the acting room and is forced by the (transvestite?) teacher to audition for the school festival’s play. Riku doesn’t want to but it seems he has no choice..and before he realizes it, the audition is on the day he was supposed to go out with Tsukasa. He gives her a call that night as she is picking out her outfits and apologizes. She gets upset and cries saying he can “just go to his stupid audition”. Riku feels bad and decides he’d call her after the audition passed.
The tranny sensei is really strict and she fails most of the auditioners. However, when Riku gets there he’s terrible and he can’t act at all. She tells him that she wants to see his “passion” translated into his acting. She tells him to forget the lines and just say what he would to a girl that he likes, naturally. Riku then closes his eyes, and turns to face the “audience” and goes “I love you.” Before realizing this however, the person he ended up facing was Sayuri, who came in to see his audition…so it looked as if he had just confessed to her. She then blushed and ran out of the room, despite Riku’s attempts to explain that it’s just an audition.
Upcoming Attractions: Riku can’t keep track of his harem as well as some other pimps (i.e. Yuuichi.)

Although I’m more forgiving towards Tsukasa. After all she’s only 16 with zero experiences in love/relationship. 
Sayuri looks like she has some past kokuhaku trauma. This should be interesting to watch.
Yea I’m glad Sayuri finally “broke” out of her “perfect girl” mode. That’s when stuff really gets interesting.
I am glad that I still haven’t drop this series yet. very interesting up to this point.
Riku need a manager to keep track of everything.
Waaahhh!? Sayuri got the sacred Tokimeki words (i.e. suki desu or whatever equivalent of “I Love You”) from Riku just like that?? I did not expect that at all, even if it was just a practice or accident (/me wonders how Shiori Fujisaki of the first Tokimemo game would have reacted to that situation).
Thanks for the summary. Tokimeki memorial sure gets more interesting despite it’s a harem anime.

Although this series is almost like a rehash of the everything, I still like it. Err… no not the harem part, it’s actually quite funny and the fighter punk chick is awesomely hilarious. Rofl!

Not thing with yuri in name. Sayuri is commmon japanese girl name. There is a girl name Sayuri in kanon too. Tokimeki is long running series I don’t think they do some stupid stuff to ruin their series.
