Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku Wo! - 05

I’ve been hit with some hard core spam lately. What is the deal with it these days, seriously. Anyway it turns out that the reason Ayako is sick isn’t because she’s come down “with a cold” but rather her Beatrice is causing it. It seems that Beatrice controls her “growth” and a similar event happened to her last year and required her to lay in bed for 3 days. Unfortunately with the school festival coming up, they don’t have that much time. Ayako is determined to be in the play so in the meantime she tells Mamoru to rehearse without her and she will definitely recover.

Assuming that Ayako won’t recover the student council does their goofy dressups and has the play go without following lines. That night Mamoru comes over to Ayako’s house with the student council president. He gives Mamoru a little doll that the sewing club made of Ayako. He and Ayako both explain that there IS a way to control the Beatrice (just like in the episode where Ayako got shot) but it’s very risky.

Mamoru is willing to take the risk and Ayako trusts him more, despite the student council pres offering to do it in Mamoru’s place. What Ayako does is turn off the lights, and has Mamoru close his eyes and clear his mind. She places his hand on her heart (or specifically her boobs lol) and we sorta see like their “souls” joining together. I frankly enjoyed the cute speech Ayako was babbling about how she loves Mamoru and wants to be close to him etc.

In the end, Ayako recovers and comes to school for the play. During the last kiss scene, the student council pres shines a light to make it appear as if it’s a sunset (since Ayako wanted her first kiss to be in a sunset) but Mamoru didn’t want to break his promise, so he kissed her on the cheek. Ayako was surprised and when she got up, she kissed him on the cheek as well. In the meantime, there was a random girl in the audience next to Mamoru’s sister babbling something about the Beatrice.

Upcoming Attractions: I think we’ll find out more about the girl I just mentioned above.

    This one wasn’t fun at all…but at least Mamoru and Ayako became closer with each other.

    i actually like it quite a bit. =3

    I do not know, somehow, the shift of less comedy for this episode did not leave me empty but I in fact like it quite muchly.

    damn my prediction didn’t come true… oh well!, anyway this ep felt pretty long somehow @_@ i wish they shortened it a bit to continue with that weird girl at the end @_@

    I liked it cause of all the ROMANCE! The comedy is cute but as long as there’s cute romance between Mamoru and Ayako it’s all good with me.

    “How interesting, Ayako wants to show him the DEEP secrets of her body…err her Beatrix” I thought…

    and then they went ahead and DID IT.

    Oh well, at least Ayako didn’t turn into a dragon.
