NHK ni Youkoso! - 17
Wow can you believe episode 17 already? 
It feels like yesterday when we were watching Sato play erogames and spy on school girls’ panties. Just as we expected, Sato’s former class president decided to take advantage of him (and his lack of) money. Honestly, the moment she found out he was a hikki, she shoulda given up. It’s like taking candy from a baby really. She asks to meet him, and because he’s desperate to get out of his house and away from his computer, he agrees.
She tells him she knows a way to make him happy. She takes him, on a train ride, down to no man’s land in the middle of a farm. It’s a small shack and inside a small room is a bunch of people sitting on the floor. There, she and this other guy do a presentation about comparing their brand (Mouse Road or something) of laundry detergent with “the leading brand” claiming that theirs is much better. Everyone oohs and ahhs and claps like zombies while Sato gets freaked out at all the brainwashing and quietly slips out the door.
She finds him before he’s about to leave and tells him that he should stay. He’s all like “You want my money don’t you?” and she’s like “Yea but it’s not much.” He tells her since he’s a hikki, he’s seen this stuff on TV and he knows what she’s after. He gets pissed and tells her he won’t be a sucker like the others and jumps out the window and runs off. She catches up to him and tries to brainwash him again.
She tells him how no one in the world cares about them. She makes up a story about how after college she couldn’t find a job so she did a waitressing job at a maid cafe. Then she got suckered into Mouse Road and now owes them a ton of money. She says if he joined her loan would decrease and then he’d be able to make money as well. She tells him that he’d be able to control people and make suckers out of them for putting him into the hikki mode. Sadly, poor Sato falls for this and comes home with 2 bags of that detergent. Misaki’s been waiting at his house the whole time and Yamazaki sees this as well going…you’ve just been suckered into this haven’t you? Then it hits Sato, he snaps out of his trance and realizes he just owes that bitch a shitload of money.

ahhhh just reading the summary makes me blood boil!, poor sato! man someone needs to “happy trigger” her to hell.
reminds me of those religious people coming to my house just to get you in their church. (no offense intended, not a very religious person anyway XD)
Sato needs a good kick to the head, and then some psychotherapy in conjunction with medication.
This show is still entertaining me to an extent, but Sato’s character is getting on my nerves in the sense that he just f-ing stupid sometimes. I wish someone would just tell him, “Hey, you have friends that will support you physically and mentally, so let’s do something about this!”
yea the annoying part is he keeps telling himself that things have gotten better but NOT because of Misaki…ikagen ni shiro! man!

He can’t catch a break can he? I’m surprised there isn’t a Society for the Prevention of Abusing Sato. Its like he actually enjoys the pain of slowly pulling a band-aid off, repeatedly. But then again, its all so entertaining to watch.

ya seriously about those church stuff. i was once a member and boy looking back gives me the willies. churches are places that seriously brain washes people. the pastor gets the money to pay for his bills and real estate, oops i mean “churches”. pastors, priests, and other religious people on the news about their perverted behaviors- man religion is total bs.
the thing is this didn’t even SEEM like a church
more like some infomercial organization or something lol
