And it’s the [in]famous school festival + school play + kiss scene episode. The student council said that they are doing a school play but one of the main girls got sick. As usual the school play uses the story of “Sleeping Beauty” (Haruhi anyone?) The student council has a brilliant idea to use Ayako in the girl’s place but in order to get her to cooperate, they take advantage of Mamoru’s kindness and ask him to play the opposing role.

Mamoru who is super nice as usual agrees with them…and as usual Ayako gets angry, blows them up, but in the end goes along with it because of him. Of course the two of them are really nervous during the early rehearsals. Mamoru becomes stiff like a board and everything coming out of his mouth is all shaky. Ayako tells him to relax and that he’ll be fine. In the meantime, Mamoru’s class is planting mutant plants for the school festival.

The student council then has a brilliant idea of adding a kiss scene. I think they originally took it out, and added a “love scene” but because the two of them were so nervous they changed it back to kiss. (Uh okay?) So then Ayako kept saying no, and the student council people randomly dressed up (some in drag lol) and they were trying to get Mamoru to kiss that blonde drill hair chick. Ayako got pissed at this saying that she hasn’t even had her first kiss with Mamoru and runs off embarrassed.

In the end after much prolonged practice they seem to be doing well. The whole time throughout the episode Ayako’s been sneezing signifying she’s caught a cold or something. Mamoru (and the student council pres) kept saying how she has a cute sneeze. ^^; During the final day of the play, right before the play begins, Ayako goes on stage and passes out, presumingly due to her fever.

Upcoming Attractions: I would assume the continuation to this. (I wish they’d have actual episode previews instead of someone reading some random text.)
