Honestly if you've tried freshly made taiyaki you'll see why it's good.
Some places (okay I'm on vacation in Taiwain..so err yes asian countries...) with the people toasting the taiyaki from batter and filling it, in front of you ared awesome. There's flavour variation too, I've tried red bean, banana, chocolate, custard and other miztures
taiyaki=win

Fundamentally, there shouldn't be anything different from Korean Brand and Japanese Brand when it comes to Taiyaki. They use same batter and same fillings, although in Korea, if you are very lucky, you might find taiyaki with different fillings ( the good ones are sugar-sesame mix, imitation cheese with bits of imitation meat, and whitened sweet beans ) that is offered as option alongside regular taiyaki. The Korean brand taiyaki I saw in Korean store was a cheaper variety that cost about half of what Japanese brand would cost, and I strongly suspect that is what you had. Still, it is highly probable that both brand is actually made in China and only difference between them is the packaging; Korean brand is cheaper for it use cheaper package, uses cheaper distribution routes, and is in larger quantity. You might face bankruptcy if you eat Japanese brand taiyaki at the rate seen by Ayu in Kanon.

I know what you mean, as I can buy Yakisoba and Ramune at the korean store, however the taiyaki i found specifically is a korean brand one, I couldn't actually find any Japanese kind

Most Korean stores carry Taiyaki packaged by Japanese companies. I have been to many Japanese owned grocery stores and is certain that most of taiyaki sold in Korean store and Japanese store is of same Japanese brand. So I am very surprised by ひでぽん(hidepon)'s claim that taiyaki from same company would taste different if bought in stores not run by Japanese.

Hello.
I from japan.

Korean taiyaki (So　bad)
jananese taiyaki (very good)

Explain the difference between them to your best ability. I have never heard of 'jananese taiyaki'.

1. Please list the difference in ingredient.
2. Difference in mixture ratio
3. Difference in cooking method
4. Difference in cooking time.
