Negima!? - 04

Uhm okay orignal arc this week. Ok you guys can stop now. No offense to any fans, but I don’t like Nodoka. She’s only cool when she grows a spine and does something heroic but I typically dislike the shy/silent/blue haired girl (Hinata, Rei) that wants the main character but never gets him because he ends up with the loud, and outgoing redhead (Sakura, Asuka). The “plot” is some kind of evil spirit of some sort’s been running around school. Asuna and the others think it’s some sort of a weird monster and 2 of Haruna (?)’s doodles come to life. I thought the cat thing was cute but it made me forget if I was watching Negima, or Di Gi Charat. Also while battling the random flower monster, Asuna conveniently gets tired from lack of eating (why is she such a glutton in this version?) and so Negi pakuti’s with Nodoka. Personally I’m looking forward to seeing the Haru OVA because I actually read that part of the manga and interested to see the anime adaptation.

    I like Nodoka, but I tend to agree with you about her overly shy character–especially early on in the story. Post-Kyoto Arc though I like her a lot more because she’s just so much more assertive. The shyness is fine and all and it makes for good scenes here and there, but she Nodoka is just a tad bit more assertive, she’s just so much better. Kinda like how the more recent manga chapters have gone–she’s not there as much, but when she is, it makes a difference.

    I like Nodoka too, because she has helped Negi a few times and her help does come in handy, like when she help Negi beat Kotaro back in Kyoto.For Naruto, there is a high chance if Naruto brings back Sasuke you know she’ll most likely go to Sasuke, but there is still a small chance she ends up with Naruto.I’m just a fan of Hinata and hope she might get Naruto.

    I completely agree on Nodoka…she has that ultra-shy character that some people like but is just a complete turn-off for me. Hopefully she’s more assertive in Shaft’s version of Negima, in the first season that whole episode where at the theme park she was crying because she was too afraid to tell Negi she liked him just made me cringe.

    i love nodoka.. but i already know the outcome*like hinano mentioned* @_@,

    Something that just occured to me while watching this ep was, why couldn’t Negi talk to Anya and his “big sis” through Skype w/ webcam? In typical anime style, they could call it skipe or something. He could introduce Asuna to them and everything.
