LOL at the end of the episode it said Uguu!? Hm this week I really liked it mainly because of all the Negi x Asuna action! I dind’t really like the beginning and end parts that were all dark and gloomy. (Guys please don’t think I like totally hate the show I just prefer the “happier/comedic” parts of Negima, without all the stupid fanservice.) I also liked Kamo-kun’s flags with the smileys on them It’s also interesting how they pretty much combined 2 of Asuna’s “kisses” within a period of like 2 minutes instead of 2 episodes like in the previous series. I didn’t particularly like Asuna’s “outfit” but it’s cool to see her wielding that huge ass sword instead of a stupid giant paper fan. Also I didn’t really know what to think of the end where they’re all like card board cutouts. I guess another one of SHAFT’s little creativities or something. I don’t really know what to make of the Baka Ranger segments at the end. It was funny like the first 2 times now it’s like “Hey can I see the next episode preview instead?” I don’t particularly like how they’re giving “Setsuna” this new “personality”…it almost seems annoying rather than “cute” or whatever they’re trying to make it appear to be. And whoa, apparently in the last 3 episodes, a year had gone by. Hmm that’s about all for this week.

Uh I was gonna write up a summary for this but then as I was taking screenshots I decided not to. Summary: Feena decides to try a “part time job” and becomes a waitress, later to have a cooking (iron chef style or SMAP x SMAP style?) competition against Natsuki.

Uhh can someone explain to me why it looks like a 5 year old drew the character designs for this episode? I read around people complaining about the animation quality drop in the previous episode….but I didn’t really notice it until this one. Perhaps it was the fact that we saw chibi’s more often than the last 2 eps combined, or the fact that every other scene someone’s eyes or mouth were crooked. The next episode doesn’t look any better but I saw Tatsuya naked, in bed, with what looked like Feena’s shadow hovering over him.

I think I realized why I like this show. Despite me usually disliking these kinds of things the fact that the villains all look like idiots and Kazuki’s sister freaking cracks me up is what keeps me watching. (Oh and the obvious romance factor etc.) So anyway Tokiko and Kazuki still have that 1 week to grab the ghey looking butterfly glasses from the fruitcake villain but the bastard decides to play hookie. Tokiko’s also been dropping by Kazuki’s room through his window recently (scandalous!) Kazuki’s also been doing some night time training with his giant spear thing. Continue Reading »
