Tatta Hitotsu no Koi - 01
So I decided to pick up
1 drama this season. I know there’s a bunch but I really didn’t wanna do anymore dramas since they take like 45 min of my time etc…but since this one airs on Mondays(?) and my Tuesdays are free I’ll probably blog this every Tuesday from now on. Anyway this drama is what I’d like to call “Reverse Cinderella”. Our hero, Hiroto (played by Kamenashi Kazuya) is the cinderella boy (lol wasnt that an anime?). His job is working at some boat repair factory, he lives with his sister(?) and handicapped brother in a tiny shack and he fishes illegally at night to make extra money on the side.
He goes to (or rather sneaks in) with his friends to a rich college student party. He and his friends make up stuff about how they go to all the rich universities to blend in. Hiroto runs into Nao, a rich ojousama girl, who earlier that day he spilled his fish bucket on by accident. He helps her look for her bag and then later on accidentally falls into the pool with her. (Or as she likes to think…he jumped in there on purpose.) After he leaves the party getting sick of all the snobby rich girls, Nao runs after him and invites him to an upcoming Halloween party.
The part that really struck me is them showing Kame and Koki both drinking and smoking. Like whoa can they show Johnny’s idols doing that? I guess now that they’re “20″ then it’s totally A-OK by everyone. Haha weirdness. Anyway Hiroto decides he doesn’t wanna bother with the party and doesn’t care if he breaks the promise. On the night of the Halloween thing, Nao waits for him while it pours rain outside. She even dresses up in a witch costume.
Hiroto then feels bad so he decides to show up like an hour later. He sees her there and then gives her a candy going “Trick or Treat”. He also gives her her jacket so she could cover up her costume. The next day Nao goes to the university he claimed to be attending to return his jacket she dry-cleaned for him, but when she asks around nobody has heard of his name. She goes to the lady who Hiroto brings fish to and she tells her where Hiroto is. Nao finds him in the shipyard and calls him a liar.
Upcoming Attractions: Hiroto and Nao fall in love

This drama looks cute, might check it out!
Random question here, did you hear about this nodame cantabile drama?
Yea I did, is that the one with Tamaki Hiroshi? isn’t it something about orchestra or music or something? I dunno like I said I didn’t have any time to check out dramas so I just looked at the cast and what the story “seemed” to be about. I used to loooovee Tamaki Hiroshi but not so much anymore, otherwise I prolly woulda checked it out.
Is he a “badboy?” I just love those badboys…
I dunno I guess they’re trying to portray that he’s “POOR” so they have him doing “bad things” like lying, smoking and drinking or something haha
Hey! Know anyone who is going to blog Nodame Cantabile Drama? I have seen the first 10 minutes of it, and I love it already! Finally, there is a TV show that gets the music right!
Hmm… just when Suppli ended, Kame stars in a new drama hahha
This show sound quite interesting, I’ll give a try. Plus Ayase Haruka is in it. Mmm…
Is Nodame really that good? What’s it about, like music? Is it comedy/romance or is it serious? I honestly haven’t seen it but it seems everyone is raving about it, maybe I should give it a peek
yea soon as I saw Kame starring in a new fall drama I figured this would be a definite watch for me.
ROFL that’s his mom they live with. I haven’t figured out whether or not how much she’s doing for the family, though HAHAHA.
The falling into the pool made me LOL.
But IDK, the show has some little charm which is making me like it a lot.
>>> Is Nodame really that good?
I think I can safely say there are many professional classical musicians in Japan enjoying this show. Finally, there is a TV drama that gets classical music right.
Memento just posted a summary of the 1st episode of Nodame Cantabile. I have also posted a long comment/correction note there as well. Take a look if you are interested. To tell the truth, I don’t see what an anime series can do to add to this live action drama.
Hm I just took a peek at Memento’s blog…maybe I’ll give it a watch on Sunday or something
