I’ve quite taken a liking to this show therefore it will be part of my massive Thursday blogging lineup. It begins with the fact that the magic school students now have to be in the same class as the other students because their building burned down. Lucky for Haruhi, she’s in the same class as (her obvious crush) Yuuma. Oh yea she’s also in the same class as Jun the trap. The funniest part is she had no idea “she” was a “he” until Jun introduced himself as a “futsuu na onna no ko!” and the whole class burst out laughing, and then a girl next to her told her about it. She got all embarrassed because she felt relieved knowing that Jun isn’t Yuuma’s “girlfriend.”

The rest of the show is pretty mild. By mild I mean the events that happen aren’t a big deal but I kinda like it. Unlike some other crap *coughtsuyokisscough*, there isn’t really blatant fanservice and random tsundere girls screeching in the guy’s face. Yuuma’s friend invites Haruhi to go see the cherry trees (hanami) with them and Haruhi’s friend agrees to go. Since she agrees, shy little Haruhi agrees to go as well.

I’m also glad Yuuma isn’t a shisucon cause that prolly woulda made me stop watching this show. Yuuma’s sister, who also happens to me Haruhi’s childhood friend, is now a first year student at their high school. Haruhi told her that she had no idea that Yuuma was her brother, but the sister explained that it wasn’t until a few years ago he became her “brother”. (He was adopted or maybe a remarriage? I wasn’t clear on this.) Haruhi came to the hanami early so she could ask Yuuma if he was the boy who saved her with magic when she was little, but she got embarrassed and fell asleep on his shoulder.

Later on, that other chick with the green blob uses her magic and like creates all the stuff you need for a picnic. However there’s a rain on their parade (literally) and Haruhi’s friend tries to stop it but instead makes it rain sake. Everyone gets drunk/passes out (except Yuuma because he’s obviously NOT WEAK to alcohol like all manly men) and so Yuuma helps take everybody home. On the way back when he’s carrying Haruhi, the black haired girl asked him “Do you hate magic?” and hes all like “well not really” and she’s like “That’s good.” I think Haruhi heard this and was glad but she seemed passed out to me I dunno.
