Bokura ga Ita - 15

Takeuchi can’t decide whether to choose hoes over bros or bros over hoes. During the summer festival Nanami keeps thinking up of ways to reject Yano if he tries to invite her, but he doesn’t end up calling her anyway. At the festival, she wears her regular clothes (no Yukata) and then tries the fish catching game. She tries to catch a turtle and fails so some random guy catches it and offers to give it to her. Before Nanami can accept it, Takeuchi grabs her hand and says “This is my girlfriend, so don’t do these things to her.” He then grabs her hand and takes her away.

Takeuchi explains to Nanami that those guys act like they’re giving her the turtle for free but in the end they try to use her to get payback. She thanks him and he also appologizes for calling her “his girlfriend.” He walks away and tells her that if she has anymore trouble to give him a call, and he will come running. Take then goes back to where Yano is acting like he didn’t see Nanami. He tells Yano that he will make his move and that Yano doesn’t deserve to go out with Nanami, because he still has not forgotten about Nana.

For the school festival Yano starts bitching that their classes’ cafe prices are too cheap and that they won’t make any money. Yamamoto, who usually argues with him actually compromises to raise some of the prices, and in the end they actually do make a decent amount of money. Yano asks her if there’s a way to forget a dead person and she tells him that it’s impossible.

When the the ceremony is coming to a close Nanami’s friends point out that Yano had asked her out at this kind of festival last year. Nanami gets all sad but then tries to forget it by focusing on the festival. Takeuchi tells this guy next to him that he doesn’t wanna lose Yano since he’s almost like family to him but he doesn’t want to give up on Nanami either. He says he will try to have both.

    LOL! True! I guess it would be the outfit and hairstyle at the beginning, when she’s at the summer festival, when Take “protects” her! :)

    i cant believe yano didnt call her… i like take but i want her to be with yano… but he really needs to get his shit together and know for sure he wants to be with nana, i wish she wore the yukata too, but take deserves someone good too… this is all just so depressing but cute haha

    w0ah nanami’s hairstyle is like ew hahah but whatever she changes her hairstyle everytime we see her.

    i think take had a crush on the other nana too for wanting the caramel o_O

    I really hope Take win, it will be a nice surprise, but this show is all about Yano and nanami and my poor Take is not going to win. I know it will be very bad if Nanami actually chose Take to later on in the show dump him and go back to Yano.

    i’m also rooting for nana and take too! but sadly the story is about nana and yano. the OP is consist of just them two. not other characters are in it.
    what does the title mean? isn’t “we were” or something like that?

    I love this show (and this blog!), but I really want Take x Nana.. I like Yano too but he’s so confused, he doesn’t deserve Nana. I hope this show won’t be disapointing.

    I heard volume 10 had a sad ending or something? Although I also heard it’s still going? Haha this show confuses me, wouldn’t it one hell of a twist if Nanami ended up with Take though? :lol:

    Sadly, I don’t think it’s the nice guys that win the girl in the end (Anyone seen Peach girl?) I always root for them but somehow they seem to lose.

    I just feel sad that those two can never patch up their friendship now after this…

    Damn! why do nice guys always have to end last! I wish that what happened in peach girl will repeat itself.
    Peach girl had the same situation as Bokura ga ita, where the first love didn’t get the girl. Ah Ah! lets hope we get a surprise. I wonder what they plan to do with the next 10 episodes after one of the guys is chosen.

    yea the english episode just came out and of course as always it was great!!! this episode made me realize that take really is a great guy but to bad he cant be with nana… and i’ve never seen peach girl either…
    supposedly there is suppose to be another ten volumes of the manga coming up, it would help us understand the ending more… because i am so lost… but i dot think i could handle another ten volumes no matter how much i love this show

    Unlike the guys in “Peach Girl” where both guys are equally wonderful in their own way, thus lead to the problem for the fans of deciding who to pick. In this anime, I prefer Nana & Take since it’s obvious to see who’s the better and sweeter boyfriend for Nana. Although I sympathized with Yano with his past and agreed that the past should remain in the past, but I felt that he’s mentally cheating on Nana with Yuri and is still as dishonest as before, or am I just being paranoid? For someone as vulnerable as Nana, Take seems like the better choice. If she remains with Yano, she will eventually loose her confidence and end up in heartbreak AGAIN!!!
