I know I usually wait 2 episodes before deciding to watch/blog a show but I instantly fell in love with this. XD Therefore you get episode 1! So many of us (especially me, Hung & JP) were wondering what the hell is this show about. The website talks about Tsundere oneesans and the domain name is MEGADERE. Well..that’s EXACTLY what it’s about! It takes place in a school where everyone has some kind of supernatural powers (i.e. Maburaho). The thing is, this girl, Ayako, she’s the most powerful in the whole school and therefore the most popular and the most admired girl by all the guys. However, no one expected her to have a shota-complex!

On the first day of school a small freshman boy sees her standing next to a tree that has cherry blossoms on it but it’s the fall. It’s the only tree that has those blossoms. He thinks it’s beautiful and innocently tells this to her when she asked what he was doing staring at her. Upon hearing this, she turns as red as a tomato, walks up to him and says “PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!” in turn shocking the entire student body. This sorta reminds me a bit of Negima because the kid is small and his voice is played by a girl. By the way Ayako’s seiyuu is also the same one who did the girl in Hanbun Tsuki. So anyway because of all this, Mamoru becomes incredibly popular and is forced to join the student council.

There’s a girl named Mitsuki who runs around and takes all these naughty pics of Ayako and sells them to her stalkers. Anyway Mamoru gets introduced to the student council and Ayako gets angry for them trying to mess into the business between her and Mamoru. However whenever she sees this kid she goes from megatsun, to megadere and turns red like a tomato. (This is the best part of the show it cracks me up every time! :lol:) So anyway one day on the way to school she picks him up (well her driver does) and on the way her driver embarrasses her so much that she breaks the door and uses it as a freaking skaterboard. Mamoru accidentally falls out, so she grabs him and holds him like a little baby (rofl) as she skates through traffic.

I think the thick of the plot is a bunch of people are after her or that other girl or something because she posesses the Beatrice powers. Mamoru didn’t know what that was (neither did I) and she showed it was the power to basically like do things such as turn the entire sky from day to night (stars and comets included!) Mamoru is totally amazed by this and he also gives her the notes she asked him to fill out. The notes was basically a questionnaire on stuff like “Can I call you Mamoru” and the final question was “Your answer?” to her question when she asked him out. He said he wanted to tell that to her in person but her driver interrupted them. She got so angry she picked up the car and threw it to the side, also hitting the student council members spying on her. Mamoru goes home that night and wonders why she fell in love with him and says that for some reason he really wants to know more about her. He gets a phone call early in the morning asking him to come to school because apparently something to do with the earth famine? (I dunno i didn’t get that last word…stuff like this makes it difficult to understand but I’m obviously not watching it for that factor :D)

Upcoming Attractions: No actual preview just the title is like “Astral Fire: Rescue Operation” or something. I dunno this show is cool as hell. There was no opening but we heard part of it during the sponsor advertisement and it sounds like it’s gonna be addictive Hare Hare Yuukai style. I can’t wait for the next episode!!
