Because tomorrow is my cat’s birthday my few hours between work and sleep shall be occupied by that and I will either not blog this week’s Wednesday shows or they will be blogged on Friday.

Most likely though I will try to at least blog Busou Renkin because it’s my favorite Wednesday show and I can probably squeeze in an episode before bed.
Don’t forget to brush and floss or you’ll end up with a mouth full of cavities (like me T_T).

Nanami and Yano end up going on a movie date because Nanami didn’t have any money so he ended up paying. They even got into an argument about what kind of popcorn they should get. For those who asked me last week “Is this show always about Riku running?” The answer apparently is yes. I think this is some kind of running (har har) gag that we’re probably going to see throughout the show. (Kinda how Kenny always dies in South Park.) So the generic school life event this week is the sports festival. In one of the events they get a bunch of beefy men to run after Riku and if he can escape he wins, and as usual he has superman legs so he wins the event. Wow can you believe episode 17 already? It feels like yesterday when we were watching Sato play erogames and spy on school girls’ panties. Just as we expected, Sato’s former class president decided to take advantage of him (and his lack of) money. Honestly, the moment she found out he was a hikki, she shoulda given up. It’s like taking candy from a baby really. She asks to meet him, and because he’s desperate to get out of his house and away from his computer, he agrees. Continue Reading »

I’m soo confused on when this airs/when I can download it so just assume it’ll be within the Sun-Mon slot. (Preferably Sundays since the only other show I watch today is NHK.) Okay well I decided that Nao’s character is ugly and annoying therefore I will be watching/deleting the episodes as they go instead of keeping it like I did with Sapuri. Nao’s and Hiroto’s friends are pooling together to hook them up. They first send Nao to Hiroto’s house telling them they will get together to drink but they all ditch out. Nao ends up cooking dinner for Hiroto’s “disabled” brother. Okay he’s disabled, on a wheel chair, yet in this episode, he gets up, walks around totally fine and even plays with that electric thing. Hiro is in denial, Karada is hurt and Shouko is sick of playing the marriage counselor. Hiro still can’t come to the fact that they indeed grew up and grew down. He says “So that girl is my sister huh.” Karada hears this, and in tears runs to her room and shuts the door. Hiro proceeds to leave and after he gets out of the elevator, Shouko runs up to him and kicks him in the shins. She calls him an idiot and goes back to her apartment. Continue Reading »

Hm okay…the part with Makoto and Ayu confused me. Perhaps it was a hint about two ****** being so close to each other. (*’s for spoilers ;)) What the hell is konyaku anyway? It looks like a moldy sponge. Is it like tofu or something? I don’t think I’ve ever eaten it. By the way TAIYAKI IS OVERRATED!! I bought some at the Korean store (okay so it’s like Korean taiyaki but its the same thing) and you know it’s not that good. I mean it’s okay, like yea red bean paste inside a baked thing but it was NOT as good as Ayu makes it seem. Other hints this week include Kaori’s “trouble at home” *cough cardboard cutter hello?* and Nayuki’s “She pushes herself too hard.” Does anyone else feel sorry for Nayuki? I think the first time I saw/played Kanon I didn’t like her because she always seemed on Yuuichi’s back but…now I re-analyze everything and really she’s ALWAYS the one left behind. I really feel awful for her, she’s like at the butt of everything. (And if you’ve played the hentai game, you probably get the pun too.)

My only disappointment is we saw 2 seconds of Mai last week…and 2 this week. I thought we’d see more ah well.
