Love GetCHU! - 22

Published by Hinano at 9:24 pm under Love Getchu

Next week is ALSO the last episode of this show. So basically the girls are on the (not so) deserted island and have cameras filming them as well. They are there to discover themselves and what their version of “Ai” should be. They have these buttons things that if they push it, itll call for emergency rescue, but if they do this, they will be disqualified. Once while playing in the lake, Rinka accidentally steps on hers and is therefore disqualified. However, she says this is for the best because even though being a voice actress was fun, she prefers to do idol singing activities.

Yumi as usual is being a super bitch and doing her own thing. The other girls try to find themselves such as walking through dark caves, and climbing cliffs :? One night while Momoko is looking up at the stars, Yurika sits next to her and asks her if she still likes Atari. Momoko says she’s not sure since he’s Yurika’s boyfriend and all, and then Yurika tells Momoko that they broke up and are now just back to being cousins. Momoko is shocked and the next day doesn’t seem to show up during auditions. Yumi of course acts like a typical “girl who hates skating but does it anyway”. The other funny one was Tsubasa’s where she was a boy forced to DRESS as a girl to ice skate lol.

When all the girls finish their auditions the only one still missing in action is Momoko. Her sensei spots her on the monitor and gives them a call telling them where she is. They find her in this “Aura of Ai” surrounded by like animals like in Bambi or something XDDD. Then she snaps out of it and is like OH SHIT AUDITION I FORGOT AHHHHH!!! But of course in the end…the 2 finalists are Momoko and Yumi.

Momoko tells Yumi that she was an inspiration and because of her Momoko was able to find her “Ai”. She wants to shake hands with Yumi and wish luck to both of them, but that bitch slaps Momoko’s hand away. She then goes on to say that the real battle is coming up and walks away. Momoko just says “That’s right I must prepare” to herself. Dude if that girl did that to me, I’d be like “bitch WHAT is your fucking problem” and like slap her back. Then again, I probably wouldn’t even tell her “lets do our best” I’d be like “yea I’m pwning your ass next round” or something. Man she pisses me off. I bet Hirano Aya is like her. She’s all sweet in public but in real life she’s like this nasty bitch LMAO. (Gets pelted by rocks from fanboys*)

Upcoming Attractions: Next week is the last 2 episodes. That’s right next week is a 1 hour special and a finale for Love Get Chu!

I agree that this was an unexpectadly nice series despite it’s predictability. Before this series came out I thought it looked really plain, but I just catched up to this episode today, and have been enjoying it all the way. While it can be really cheesy, it doesn’t really matter.

All the “shibai!” speak, and Momoko BECOMING Ai this episode specifically…. Really brought back memories of Glass Mask. Except Yumi’s character isn’t fleshed out enough… I’d like to see another series like that. Not to mention Amane making comments earlier in the series on Momoko being “nante osoroshii ko” XD

Only things I think should have been changed is how the same characters are ALWAYS having good luck, and how much they stand out from everyone else. Not to mention I enjoyed the fake anime scences more than the animation for the anime itself. XD I want Sukerabu!

Yeah, I don’t like it when series “half focus” on love. These kind of series have you at the edge of your seat and then nothing happens.
