I’ve been occupied with various life things, so Taiyou no Uta 9 will either be posted tomorrow or Thursday. So it turns out Ishida passed the creator exam and Fujii is really happy for him. She even lets him into her house and he does stuff like fix her lightbulbs, her sink and her doorknob. He tries to grab her butt while he’s at it, but she ends up flipping him on her bed. That’s what you get for trying dirty things on a woman 1 foot taller than you boy!

The next step for Ishida is to pass the creator interview. Boy Japanese job interviews are pressurizing as hell. It’s like you’re in this a huge room, with 4 dudes staring at you behind a table and throwing questions at you like an automatical baseball machine. Ishida realizes he needs a suit so he asks Ogihara to come with him and Fujii comes along as well to have him pick one out. While there, Ogihara goes outside with Fujii and tells her that he likes her, just as Ishida is back from purchasing the suit. He tells her that he wants to go on a business trio to Peking and take Fujii with her. The next day Ishida is sad but Fujii tells him that she won’t go because she has no feelings for Ogihara.

Ishida then goes on his interview and although his presentation and ideas go well, afterwards is where he flops. They look at his job history, and all his part time jobs he only spent like 1-2 months and that doesn’t look good. He explained that he had no goal but this job is something he really plans to stick to. They pelt him with more corporation questions and he can’t answer. One of the guys says to him that he needs more experience working in a company. (Ah why does this feel so nostalgic to me? :|) Everyone at the office tells him it was just bad luck and he can try again next year.

Later that day he calls Ogihara outside and tells him to “take care of Fujii-san for me” because “there’s nothing I can do for her lonliness”. The thing is, the clock commercial they were gonna do, Fujii’s ideas got rejected so she’s been working alone overtime like mad to get new ideas. They even asked Imaoka to come back and present because Fujii’s ideas keep getting rejected. This also causes Imaoka to double book and he’s unable to attend his daughter’s piano recital…and it’s the last time he sees her before she leaves to return to her mother. So anyway the next day Ishida receives a call from Fujii about getting together and eating curry and that she’d see him tomorrow. He hears this and cries because we now know that he quit working there. The day after, everyone gathers in the office and sees a resignation letter from Ishida. Fujii is so upset she runs out of the office and starts looking for him on the street. Before she knows it, she ends up in the same spot where she first met him, and begins to cry.

Upcoming Attractions: Fujii and Ishida live happily ever after…or so I hope. n_n
